I’ve attached two photos of 8 new LED bulbs inserted as replacements into an existing 5w G40 incandescent light string - at 100% there’s no difference, at 20% the leds are a bit brighter but the warmth of light matches the incandescents. Though the bulbs are plastic and not glass, they don’t look any different either - very happy with these!

These bulbs are beautiful but they are too fragile for outdoors. I bought the string of lights last summer and this replacement pack in December. Every bulb has been replaced at least once. I changed 14 bulbs last weekend that had burnt out, in the past two months. Two already need to be replaced again. I have six bulbs left in the box. The lights are on the railing of a balcony that overlooks a courtyard so they are somewhat sheltered. It has been breezy, but not very windy. They aren't burning out from overuse, the new ones have been on four hours a day for maybe five days. The glass has stood up very well, but I think the tiny filament is just too delicate for outdoor use. I'm going to order non-Edison looking LED bulbs
