Great Entry Level Camera with Easy Setup & lots of customer support
St Andrews MB, Mar-30-24, Rebluum RB-3PT1 Camera Number 2. I gave this a 5 star rating because it’s a GREAT Camera for the 1st time user. Purchased Dec 2023 Installed Mar-15-24. The Camera has LOTS of PRO’s and very few CONS, Overall a great starter camera for the entry level person,THE PROS:Larger Easy to read and understand manual included, also downloadable on line manual available in PDF format. Setup is very easy “if you follow the instructions”, also online videos for set up are available, Can take up to 128gb microsd card for storage of alert capture videos, Cloud service and Specific AI Detection are available for a monthly fee on EACH camera, in case you have more than 1. Camera wifi speed is 2.4ghz only, and you want to keep the camera within 30 to 50 feet of your router as you may experience signal drop and delayed response to your mobile device. Which can be solved by adding a WIFI Extender for your router.. Picture quality is actually very good. Sound mic and speaker quality is absolutely EXCELLENT. The camera pivots fast 350 degrees horizontal and 90 degrees vertical. The PIR detection and humanoid detection can be turned off to catch everything and are very configurable for the discerning user. Notification alerts can be turned off at ease in the software. Device sharing is also a feature available, as long as the person your sharing with , must and has set up their own CLOUDEDGE account, weather they have a camera or not. Activation and registration of the camera can bring you extra benefits, extended warranty, life time Tec-support and more. This is a very respectable starter price point camera. The camera comes with a 3 ft USB C cable for initial charging, but NOT ac to dc 5v 1 or 2 amp charger. The whole idea of the SOLAR charger is to supply charging power when the battery level gets low, not to override the battery 24/7- 365. That being said, If the solar power panel fails or not enough direct daylight sunlight, The battery will die and the camera will NOT work. The camera MUST be removed from its location, manually charge the battery with an ac to dc converter to full capacity, then the POWER button MUST be manually pushed and held till the camera restarts, then the camera can be reinstalled in its location. Hopefully redirecting the solar panel directly at the suns best angle will work, if not then the camera needs a continuous AC to DC power supply. More details to come at a later date, 3 to 6 months. Customer support is excellent, returns emails very quickly, lots of tech support and helpful ideas if your having any challenges.THE CONS:There is NO option for still shot pic auto capture, but can be done while reviewing videos. There is NO option to save either pics or videos to an outside FTP or remote server. There is NO option for a P2P windows or Apple computer, there is a windows website to view your camera on, see link in pics. The only available app is CLOUDEDGE for Android or IOS, which is proprietary to the Rebluum cameras. There is NO auto tracking or intelligent tracking available in the software. There is NO pre-set locations for specific quick access of the camera viewing area. Changing WIFI or network locations can be very cumbersome, you must delete the camera from your REQUIRED account, then push and hold the hidden reset button on the camera, then TOTALLY Reinstall, reconnect and completely reconfigure the camera for the new network. There is NO simple “CHANGE WIFI SSID or Network location” buttons in the current software. Definitely a pain in the butt if you are using multiple routers with different SSID’s or location name. I’m not sure how the Winter extreme cold and lack of direct sunlight will affect the Solar charging and life of the battery during usage, but time will tell. A Note: In the manual it does say not to keep the battery plugged in continuously to an ac power adapter as it will not allow the battery to cycle its power range if power is lost.

The instructions to set up the camera were OK but could use more details about the use. The app took me a while to get things rolling, but when I got it set up and running, it was working okay. Seems the range of detection for movement is only 25 to 30 ft. I would have liked it to be a bit further out so I could monitor traffic in my area. I find that the app takes a while to load up the camera image, this could use some refinement unless it is my WiFi that is not giving a strong enough signal? Customer service is excellent and they respond to questions quite quickly.
Update- been using this camera for a little while now and find that the motion detection is poor, it doesn't detect movement until you are almost under the camera, and it misses events even though sensitivity settings are altered to obtain maximum results. Very unreliable, I could not depend on this camera for any possible intruders. I took it down and put it back in the box.

Used it for a while so far and good clarity. I ordered the larger micro sd card for extra storage, paired easily to the wifi 2.4. Excellent customer service. I give them 5 out of 5 for that as i had a question and they were prompt to answer and resolve.

Awesome little camera for the price. easy to set up..app is great and simple to use and understand. customer service is good also. can check on the house when I am at work...and night alarm with siren lets me know when someone is in the area plus records everything in the micro sd card. highly recommend this for a simple camera to use and provide security for your property at a great price.

I’ve had this camera for 1 week so far quite impressed. Easy set up, don’t follow the instructions manual. Scan the QR codes than do it all through the app unless you’re using a SIM card which most people use a sd card so the instructions are irrelevant. Once set up it has quite a few nice functions like the motion detection settings, 170 degree camera angles, spot light for at night, microphone, alarm and notifications for when somethings triggered the camera. I have my camera about 30 feet from my router and it takes about 3-5 seconds to get the notification to my phone which is quite impressive. I’ve had a few security cameras and this one was the easiest to set up and has most functions for the price. Remember to get the 128gb sd card as the camera does not come with one. The solar function is very handy as you don’t need to run a power line to it, but it comes with one if that’s the route you wanted to take. Again 1 week in. We’ll see how it holds up in Canadian winters.

The camera was easy to install and have excellent picture. The image is super clear and I like how it has different night vision options (colour or b&w). The notification alert is great - I like being informed whenever there is a package, animal, vehicle, and person walking by my property. The cloud option is a great add-on feature to have and affordable.
I had an issue with the solar panel not charging the camera and customer service was prompt to address the issue. I appreciate the excellent customer service provided.
It is a great product and I highly recommend this camera.
Thank you!

even at the detection sensitivity set to 10 (out of 10) and humanoid detection set to 5 (out of 5) - no event recorded. People move around - nothing; car is moved away from the driveway - nothing.

I have tested various options of full area, specifying detection area. nothing. putting the camera at a specific location - yes - it detects the changes and records them.

so - good enough product for remote monitoring of an area. can move left-right, up-down; wifi setup ok; will see about battery life and solar charging. but - it is not a security camera, unfortunately.

We're pleased with this security camera. Image is very clear. The two way audio is perfect and the alarm - loud and clear. The option to customize settings - motion sensor, alarm, audio, save images, and view images in full color or B/W very handy. We've had it for just a few weeks and so far pretty darn good. The setup was easy, had a few questions, contacted the ReBluum Customer Service and they were very helpful and resolved issues. We did have a hiccup on one of the cameras, but Customer Service replaced it immediately. A Micro SD Card is needed to save images and check history, which comes in handy. The price is fair and the camera with solar panels are well made. This is a pretty handy camera.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to Install and use via the app!!

I loved this camera so much I purchased two of them. The camera takes excellent videos and photos. It was very easy to set up and get running without any issues. I got 2 camera to testing and evaluated to save my time. After set-up you can choose different setup for alert for movement and record a 10,20 or 30 sec option video. What is also great is that you can go onto the app and see what your camera is looking at and set up "alert areas" or where exactly you want the camera to alert within its field of view. The best thing for me is that resolution it’s really amazing during daylight and at darkest the flash light turn on which gives a great resolution as well. Also the sd micr SIM card there’s no need for any subscription at all which is up to 128gb ( enough for at least 12 months before formatting and reuse it again). overall this cam does exactly what I want it to do as to alerting me when someone is near my home and I have to say with all the little caveats I am very very satisfied with this camera. Its price point is great and it actually does what the company advertises. I am glad I purchased this camera.
As recommended by other reviewers here I have configured all Cameras under Motion Detection Sensitivity set @ 10 (max). I also use 128 GB SD card ($9) and do not subscribe to CloudEdge Application Services. Connecting the cameras to my Eero Pro 5 mesh 2.4 GHz network was seamless and smooth operation.
Really love this camera. We have several throughout our property and they all work very well. Images are clear in both day and night viewing. Would highly recommend this camera for anyone looking solar powered camera. Easy to install and operate.
Overall... great product.

5.0 out of 5 stars AMAZING Product & Clarity at an Excellent Price Value
Reviewed in the United States on June 24, 2023
Verified Purchase
I was a bit hesitent with the low price compared to other cameras, but decided to take a chance with the 4.7 review rating. There are minor flaws, but from my research it's a common issue with motion-based camera recording, especially at this price range. I purchased a total of 9 cameras, but had to return 2 cameras. All 9 cameras worked, but 2 of the cameras included Yellow LED instead of White color LED for some reason - QA related issue. It's been 3 weeks since install and soo far.. I am very impressed.

As you can see in the picture I've included, I mounted my cameras inside of the roof overhang, so little of it is exposed. The only exception are the solar panels which are mounted outside facing south. My house faces East, so you only see the side of the solar panels. The cable is 4 feet long, so I purchased a 9-pk of plastic 15.5" cable raceways for cable management and mounted it on top of the cameras (gray bar) - $20. The raceway can hold up to (3) 4 ft. cables - a bit tight, but it fits. It made the install look more professional and cleaner that way. I really took advantage of the 355° PTZ feature to get the cameras aimed at a specific angle or to cover a specific zone/area. Cameras in portrait mode are only used for main doors (e.g. front door, garage door), while the majority of my cameras are in natural position (mounted horizontally) capturing video in landscape mode. The video can be flipped upside down, which allows you to mount the camera in any different position you can imagine.

As recommended by other reviewers here I have configured all Cameras under Motion Detection Sensitivity set @ 10 (max). I also use 128 GB SD card ($9) and do not subscribe to CloudEdge Application Services. Connecting the cameras to my Eero Pro 5 mesh 2.4 GHz network was seemless and smooth operation.

Motion Detection Settings:
- Detection Sensitivity set @ 10 (max)
- Custom Mode:
-- Recording Time: 30 second
- Alarm Interval: Off

With the above settings, majority of my cameras go down from 100% battery to 90-95% in low traffic areas. For high traffic areas, the battery can go down to as low as 81%. Once sun rises and we have a full day of sunlight, the battery will be at 100% again by noon. In Southern California, we did experience 4 straight days of cloud & 1 day of rain. The battery was literally at max for the low traffic areas by sunset. However, the high traffic areas dropped to as low as 51%. It took 1 full day of sunlight to go from 51% to 80% charge. By the 2nd day that camera was fully charged like the other cameras. On a cloud day, I would say the battery recharge is about 30-35% increase, while on a cloudy day or rainy day we can get a 10-15% recharge. Also keep in mind the camera is using the power while battery is still being recharged throughout the day. I would not be concerned with running low on batteries at all.

I have not tried other Camera application before, but find CloudEdge to be useful even though there are some slight flaws. It can take 3-5 seconds before you can view the live feed. For PTZ, it can take up to 10 seconds before the camera actually moves. Soo after you press the button - wait. As for saving the recorded footage to your phone, you have to manually press the record button to start & stop. This works for previous recordings or live recording. I find the calendar to be accurate in pulling the specific recording date you need, but there is a lag in getting the recording, so again patience is key.

Like other reviewers have mentioned, there seems to be a 2-3 second loss of recording in the beginning, which is why I have set my recordings to all 30 seconds. I have also mounted multiple cameras to cover any specific area. While this does have the ability to record audio, you can barely make out what anyone is saying even if they were standing 10 feet in front of the camera. You can hear bits and parts, but not enough to make a full sentence. If the person was shouting, then you can hear it audibly. All 7 of my cameras are in the same perdictament, so I don't think it was just 1 bad camera, unless all 7 are bad. A YouTube Reviewer also said the same thing and his demonstration also validated what I exhibited with the audio recorded with the footage. Soo there is a set back or flaw with audio being recorded.

I paid $55 for 2 cameras & $60 for the other 5 cameras. Even with the flaws mentioned above, I feel this camera deserves a 5 star rating, expecially at this price point for what it does. I intend to install more cameras to cover the back yard and side of the house and will eventually end up with 16-20 Rebluum cameras in total all running on MicroSD. 128 GB will last about 3 months in high traffic area and about 8 months in low traffic area. Oldest recording will be overwritten once memory card gets full. I also plan to use a 2nd different camera system for just the main doors (possibly riing doorbell/camera system), while Rebluum will cover every inch of the property. Alerts only enabled for the main doors.

5.0 out of 5 stars AMAZING Product & Clarity at an Excellent Price Value

Verified Purchase
The set up on this camera is very easy . It is possible to set it up and connect it to your phone within minutes. It only took a few minutes to mount the camera out in our yard, minimal skill is required. We were able to put the camera about 30 feet out in our yard, and the connection to the internet is strong. The picture is clear. The camera is moveable and works well when connected to my phone. The motion alert works well. The solar panel works great to keep the battery charged. This solar feature makes it so versatile that the camera can be places anywhere within range of your internet. The product works so well we are planning on getting a few more. I highly recommend this product.
