I know a complaint that some people have is that it doesn't have an off button, you have to physically unplug it, but that's not that big of an issue if you're gaming because most platforms give you a way to mute yourself on-screen! so it's fine by me.
It's cute, it's inexpensive... I recommend!
Size-wise, the mike is perfect for my setting (not on a boom) and doesn't obstruct too much on my desk in front of the monitors. Being black it blends in nicely, and the small green LED in front is not distracting at all. It doesn't have a mute button or gain controls but I don't need that anyway.
But then I bought a dynamic mic (more than 130 dollars) to avoid background noise. I had to buy an audio interface for that so total cost was about 7 times more than this razer usb mic.
Then, I started comparing these 2 mica by recording sound. Now I see how good this usb mic is.
Simple, cheap but good. This is a condenser mic so it is designed to pick up all the sound and that’s expected and good for sharing the mic among 2 or more people.
Recording quality is average, not as sensitive as other microphones I've used (Snowball and Solocast).
No mute button which is very unfortunate.
This microphone also seems to pick up background hum.
For the price, HyperX Solocast is a much better built, better sounding, and more feature rich microphone.

Pros:
Compact Design: The first thing that caught my attention was its size. It's incredibly compact and doesn't take up much space on my desk, which is a big plus.
Sound Quality: Despite its small size, the audio quality is surprisingly good. It captures clear and crisp audio, making it ideal for voiceovers, streaming, and video calls. I've noticed a significant improvement in the audio quality of my online meetings and content.
Plug-and-Play: Setting up the Seiren Mini was a breeze. It's a true plug-and-play device, and it worked seamlessly with my computer without the need for any additional drivers or software.
Affordable: Considering its quality and performance, the price point of the Razer Seiren Mini is quite reasonable. It's an excellent option for those on a budget.
Cons:
No Gain Control: It lacks a gain control feature, which might be a drawback for some users who want more control over their audio levels. However, I've found that adjusting the input volume in my computer settings does the job just fine.
Omnidirectional Pickup: The microphone has an omnidirectional pickup pattern, which means it may capture background noise in noisy environments. It's perfect for controlled recording spaces but may require some noise reduction software in less ideal situations.
In conclusion, the Razer Seiren Mini USB Condenser Microphone is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for an affordable and compact microphone for content creation, online meetings, or even gaming. It's easy to use, offers decent sound quality, and won't break the bank. While it's not without its limitations, it's a great addition to my setup, and I would recommend it to fellow content creators and gamers alike.
