The KS-20X takes the classic offset-X stand design and enhances it with double bracing for increased rigidity. This makes it suitable for most types of keyboards for stage and studio use, including 88-note models. A spring-loaded lever with locking clutch provides quick and easy height adjustment, while adjustable rubber sleeves provide instrument support and solid stability on uneven surfaces.

It's been the most sturdiest stands I've ever tried ... The materials are top-notch, however the (KS-20x) is only ideal if you play standing up. The lowest position it folds to, is about 31" inches high, which made it WAY too high when I'm playing sitting down. Had to return it for this reason.
I bought this to use at gigs with my rather heavy RD800. I'd briefly tried my double braced X stand but it felt like it was about to give way at any second, plus it's like playing on a trampoline.
Overall I'm really pleased with this stand. It easily supports the weight of the keyboard and holds it steady. There is slight movement from side to side if you push but I've not noticed this happen whilst playing.
The stand is easy to erect and collapses down swiftly into 3 pieces. I have set the height and width adjustments so that it's always at the correct position straight away when put up, which saves time and fuss. There are four feet on the bottom of my RD800 and the stand sits nicely between them, making it even more secure than with just the non-slip, padded tape provided. I play sitting down with the stand set at its lowest position but there's plenty of scope to play standing up with this stand.
On stage the stand look sturdy and professional and as with all Z stands, there's loads of leg room. I would thoroughly recommend.
A little skeptical at first on the stability of the stand, however it has performed rather well over the past month. This stand easily resists force/movement in the vertical and forwardly horizontal direction, which is very important. In a transverse (side-to-side) direction the stand moves quit freely, although this is irrelevant because the force applied by your fingertips in that direction are generally negligible (I purposely applied transverse force to check for movement). More relevant if there are to be kids running wildly bumping into the side of it.
I apologize for the technical explanation but I felt it was lacking in the comments. Overall, this stand is sturdy/stable in the relevant directions, lightweight, low profile, and very affordable. Would recommend for virtually anyone.

Excellent stand for travel. It is bit on the heavy side but is expected since I opted for the double instead of the single brace. Once assembled (easy to do) setting up the stand is as simple as pulling a lever, once at the right height let go of lever. Seams to be very well built I would easily recommend this for anyone looking for a portable stand. Two things to consider though. One it is wide when folded so it would take up space for storage. Two It does way a bit. A single person can easily lift it but because it is well built, the weight could be a factor. Edit: Third reason to consider is storing objects underneath is not practical. Because of its design there is very little room for storage should you use this as a permanent stand. Example a garbage can can not fit.
