Perfect for Dyson Airstraight, uses the high quality YKK zippers!
I was looking for a good case for my new Dyson Airstraight, and after much searching online I thought this was the best option out there. A real pleasant surprise was that it uses high quality YKK zippers (a market leader in zipper technology, used by many high end brands for bags, etc.) - that's important if you want a smooth, durable zipper that won't break under strain. I am glad I went with the purple colour (as opposed to black), its a nice rich looking shade and the canvas also appears to be high quality. For size reference, it fits into the bottom of a Trader Joe's tote perfectly, meaning it will fit nicely into the carry on bag I use when travelling (I wouldn't trust leaving it in a checked bag after having a hair straightener go missing in my luggage at some point after checking it in for a flight). I don't know that I would have purchase a case if I wasn't planning on travelling with the AIrstraight, but given the cost of these Dyson's I want to ensure it's protected when travelling, and this case certainly seems made to do that.

Works EXACTLY as if Dyson themselves created the case. Perfect for holding the unit, then loosely tucking the cord away in a separate compartment. Dyson, take note! It's not as sexy as a Dyson branded item (think more high school band case, LOL), but it does the job.

Within seconds I knew I needed some kind of case for my Airstraight. With no satisfaction from Dyson Canada, I purchased this item. (although DYSON USA has a case available, it's not an option for Canadians).

Well-made sturdy case for Dyson Airstrait. Thanks to the soft divider pad and the velcro strap, Airstrait fits in well and doesn’t rattle. Although I’m still surprised why such an expensive device does not come with an official hard-case or a carrying bag, this third-party hard-case comes in handy and is highly recommended.
