All parts were with it and when we fired it up after charge it worked as was expected. Takes good pictures and video. Got it for our son and he got it figured out quickly and has taken a lot of pictures so far with it

I absolutely love this camera! One of my favorite features is the front screen, which makes it so much easier to take selfies and vlog. The quality of the pictures is outstanding, capturing every detail with stunning clarity and vibrant colors.

This is nothing more than an expensive toy. The price is absolutely ridiculous for the quality of images you get from this camera. It looks like photos and video from a call phone that's from 2010. The images are low quality and grainy, even when taken outdoors under optimal lighting conditions.

Furthermore, while the camera does record at 4K, the frame rate is absurdly low. I would estimate about 15 fps, if that, in 4K mode, and probably close to 20-25 in 1080p mode. It's totally unacceptable in the modern day when even the cheapest phones record at 60 fps.

It records video footage in .avi format, which is an ancient codec which is no longer widely used. In fact, I could not even import the footage into DaVinci Resolve on my M2 Mac mini without converting it using Handbrake first. Again, in this day and age I would expect .mp4 or .mov files at the very least.

At the time of this review, the camera is being sold for $150. There are so many better options available on Amazon for a lower price, with more features and better quality. I can't see any value in this camera at all. Look elsewhere even if you're just buying this for a kid to play with. There are way better options out there.

At the time of writing this review, this underwater camera costs $129.99. There is a coupon available for $30, making this $99.99 before tax.

I ruined a phone by bringing it into the ocean, not realizing that even though it's water proof, the salt will eat away at the connectors.

This camera is considerably cheaper and easier to replace than my phone, and it has rubber grommets to protect all the sensitive pieces and is designed for being underwater.

The camera is much nicer than I thought it would be. I wasn't sure what to expect for the quality considering the price range. Safe to say the camera is worth the money based on the quality of pictures and how rugged and well built it is.

My favorite feature is the front facing screen. It's much easier to take action shots or steady videos when I can see myself and what I am doing.

I don't plan on being in the ocean any time soon, but this will be coming with me on every vacation. I tested the water proofing by submersing it in a 2 foot bucket of water for 20 minutes. There was no sign at all of water ingress at any point that is accessible. The camera still works perfectly.

Great compact size camera that we can take to the pools for some underwater shots! Camera dries quickly.
Video attached of our baby bath tub, works great.
Camera has front display screen and rear display screen (great for selfies) and a buiot in self-timer for the family shots. The carry bag is also a great addition.

1.0 out of 5 stars Photo quality is poor

I bought this for an upcoming holiday to the Cook Islands where I plan to do lots of snorkeling. I can’t speak to how waterproof it might be but when I tried it out was very disappointed with the quality of photos. I have old digital cameras that take better photos than this. The colour is poor and photos very grainy.
This camera was rated quite highly in reviews after GoPro but a fair bit cheaper. I guess you get what you pay for. The only thing I liked about was the colour of the camera itself but that doesn’t help increase photo quality.
All I can say is I’m glad I got this in time to test it out before I leave for my holiday with time to get something better so my under water holiday photos won’t be a complete disaster. Honestly a waterproof cover over your phone will produce photos 100% better than this.
In the end I went for the GoPro put that to the test when I go away in a couple of days.

1.0 out of 5 stars Didn’t work out of the box… issues with battery cover…

Camera came with two batteries… put first battery on to charge, green charging light came on, left over night to charge (as light had not turned off as per instructions if charged). Next morning green light still on and camera wouldn’t turn on.

Tried the second battery had the exact same result. Returned to Amazon for a full refund.

Also found the battery/charging bay cover extremely difficult to figure out how to open. The instructions were very vague and not helpful at all, once I had worked it out was fairly simple but took some mental high jinx on my part to work it out. Considering I bought this camera for my 8yo daughter she would most definitely have had a major problem getting the battery cover to open.

Used twice in two days for very short period of time. Battery won’t flat. On going to look at photos non of buttons would work. Turning on defaulted to delete photo on screen- but couldn’t select yes or no. Wouldn’t turn off.
