Dashcam itself is good. Very clear pictures/ movies. "Easy to use for the most part".This camera was being installed on my new 2023 Lexus NX. I thought it would be a very seamless installation but it wasn't.Due to the fact that the cigarette lighter is located under a wireless charger which can be pushed back and forth as shown in picture 2. The wiring of the dash cam would always block the wireless charger from closing completely and making it useless in my car. On top of that, my car has a lot of soft-touch material which would make it impossible for any sticky wiring clips to stick to the surface of the car (clips which they do not include in the packaging). If I wanted to avoid the clips, it would be so hard for me to tuck in the wiring of the dashcam in the car also. Def, not an easy installation for not so tech savvy person.To bypass everything and to keep this dashcam, I had to buy a "dashcam-to-rearview mirror" adapter to bypass power from the cigarette lighter to draw power solely from the rearview mirror. Also just to state, I did not want to install the wiring to draw power from the engine. On top of that, I had to buy a new USB A to USB C cable so that the adaptor would power the dashcam. As there were no other cables included other than the cable for the cigarette lighter which I wasn't going to use.Another issue I found with this dashcam, is the app. Very hard to connect your phone to the dashcam to download videos and pictures from directly. There was a lot of menu bypass and wireless connection issues. I just take the memory card and download the files from it now just to save time.Summary: I do not recommend this dashcam for any Lexus NX owners that have a 2022 model year and newer. This dashcam is good when working properly and when the installation is complete. The app sucks to download pictures and videos. But if you are using the app to view the pictures and videos and you have made a connection from your phone to the camera then it is good. The customer service is extremely good, they do follow up with you asking if the package was received undamaged. Which was in my case and they make sure everything is in working order. This is why I give them a higher rating despite all the troubles

I bought this cam sometime in July. I was having troubles with the suction cup in high and low temps so I bought the adhesive one. I haven’t had any issues with it coming off.

The picture is better than low quality cams and for the price, it is good. You should have no issues seeing the license plates of cars beside you when it’s light out. The night vision should allow you to clearly see the license plate of a vehicle in front of you. There was no issues with setting it up and mounting it to my car. I haven’t done the rear facing cam yet though.

Since I haven’t used the suction cup in a while, I lost it and I needed to use it for my work van. I can’t put an adhesive mount on since the vehicle isn’t mine. When I first messaged customer service asking them to help me, I was fully expecting to pay for it and shipping if that was even possible since they don’t ship to Canada and Amazon.ca doesn’t sell a replacement mount. I never imagined this would be solved so quickly, but least of all that I’d get it for free just because I lost the other one. Thank you so much Crystal. You did an amazing job helping me and you really deserve a raise!

This dash cam that I got was an older model and was clearly a returned unit. The packaging was open and when I went to review my camera footage there were previous recordings from the other owner.
The dashcam setup and installation were easy and straight forward. The mount was okay in that the GPS receiver is part of the suction cup base but the power cable get attached to the camera. I would have put the power and rear camera inputs into the base as well that way I don't have unsightly cables left hanging when I remove the main camera. The video quality was where I found this unit to be really decent. Night and day recording were clear. To improve I would like to see 120-144Hz recording to really smooth out the end results and allow for better screen captures.
Where I felt disappointed is in two areas - first, the unit turns the screen off after a few seconds and there is no way (that I have been able to find) to adjust this so that the system displays your current speed and direction like other dashcams on the market. Second, the recordings are tied to 30s, 60s or 180s recordings. I'd have preferred an additional option to allow the unit to record for a full 2.35GB - the max file size that you can get on a FAT32 file system. Since the camera can handle a 512GB Micro SD card, having tens to hundreds of tiny 3 minute long videos to sort through (or tie together to make into a trip) is not what I thought I'd have.
Where RedTiger has done an excellent job however is in there systems ability to link to your cellphone so you can see, in near real time, your footage as it's being recorded. All this through the onboard WiFi. As an added plus, I didn't have to disconnect my phone from the cellular service to get this to work unlike my other 4k dashcam system.
I'd like to acknowledge that this is an older dashcam model so some of the above points may have been addressed with the latest version of this dashcam. As it is, I am happy with the performance of the unit and would recommend RedTiger dashcams.

I have been using this Dash Cam for about 3 months and so far I am very pleased. Installation was tedious as expected for any front & rear dash cam, but I was pleased to see the product came with a tool which made it much easier to tuck in and hide wires. A microSD card is also supplied, you just have to format it during setup. I did have one issue with the microSD not being recognized a few days into use, but I re-formatted and haven't had any issues since.

Picture quality is good, but not great - looking at the video through my phone I'm not sure I would consider it 4K, but it is still a decent resolution. However, I understand this isn't a $500 camera system so for the price it is hard to beat. Navigating the camera itself is quite easy once you read the manual, and viewing recorded videos through the app was quite easy to do as well.

The rear camera came with a 3M adhesive to mount, however the front camera came with a suction cup mount. I was skeptical of how long the suction cup would stick, particularly living in the Prairies where we have extreme highs and lows in temperature. As expected, the suction released during an extremely hot day. However, after reading other reviews I contacted RedTiger directly and their customer service was fantastic. I received a reply immediately and a new mount arrived at my door a week later, free of charge. The customer service representative even sent me a follow-up email to ensure I was happy with the new mount, which I appreciated. The new mount uses 3M adhesive, same as the rear camera mount, and I actually much prefer the look (pictured). I have been using this Dash Cam for about 3 months and so far I am very pleased. Installation was tedious as expected for any front & rear dash cam, but I was pleased to see the product came with a tool which made it much easier to tuck in and hide wires. A microSD card is also supplied, you just have to format it during setup. I did have one issue with the microSD not being recognized a few days into use, but I re-formatted and haven't had any issues since.

Picture quality is good, but not great - looking at the video through my phone I'm not sure I would consider it 4K, but it is still a decent resolution. However, I understand this isn't a $500 camera system so for the price it is hard to beat. Navigating the camera itself is quite easy once you read the manual, and viewing recorded videos through the app was quite easy to do as well.

The rear camera came with a 3M adhesive to mount, however the front camera came with a suction cup mount. I was skeptical of how long the suction cup would stick, particularly living in the Prairies where we have extreme highs and lows in temperature. As expected, the suction released during an extremely hot day. However, after reading other reviews I contacted RedTiger directly and their customer service was fantastic. I received a reply immediately and a new mount arrived at my door a week later, free of charge. The customer service representative even sent me a follow-up email to ensure I was happy with the new mount, which I appreciated. The new mount uses 3M adhesive, same as the rear camera mount, and I actually much prefer the look (pictured). I just installed it, but based off previous experience with 3M adhesive style mounts I'm hopeful this one will stick much better than the suction cup did.

The product was nicely packaged, and the manual and quick start guide have clear instructions in comprehensible English. Included in the package are 5 small wire-routing clips, which I thought was a little stingy, but in the end I didn't need to use any for my installation (2016 Honda Civic Touring), so no problem there.

Installation went smoothly. I watched the YouTube video linked in the manual and it was helpful to get a sense of how the wires should be routed. I followed the same path as on the video, rear camera wire to the left, power wire to the right, and was able to completely tuck the wires away as shown in the instructions.

[Note: Be sure to test the basic functionality prior to fully installing it, as suggested in the manual.]

After running through the settings to make sure everything was set right (I only needed to change to DST and video length), I took a short test drive to check functionality, and everything worked perfectly. I moved the card to my laptop to check the video quality, and both front and back views looked good. The front being 4K is extremely clear, and the rear view is 1920 x 1080, which is sufficiently clear. RedTiger has a video player on their site you can use to view GPS tracking, speed, etc., which is nice.

I haven't tried the mobile app yet, but I suspect it will work as expected, given how successful things have gone so far. First road trip is coming up, so if there's anything to add after that I'll post an update.

Uzun araştırmalar ve bir sürü farklı ürünün YouTube videolarını izledikten sonra F/P ürünü olabileceğini düşünerek aldım, yanılmamışım.

Bu ürünle yakın rakama alabileceğiniz iki tane ön plana çıkan kamera var: G500H ve 70Mai A500S Pro Plus. Ben önce başka bir alışveriş sitesinden G500H aldım, ürün açıklaması ile gelen ürün farklı olunca iade ettim. (Şu anda satılan G500H'lerin arka kamerası 1080P değil 720p olarak geliyor, ve 2024'te ürünün birçok özelliği de eski versiyona göre kısılmış. Dikkat edin bazı satıcılar bunları belirtmeden satış yapıyorlar ancak gelen ürünün özellikleri sitede yazan ürünle aynı olmuyor. Teyit etmeden satın almamanızı tavsiye ederim). A500S Pro Plus ise 4K değil.

Şimdi RedTiger'ın artılarına gelelim:

Öncelikle ürün yukarıda belirttiğim diğer iki ürün gibi küçük de olsa bir pile sahip değil. Kontağı kapattığınızda direk kapanıyor. Dolayısıyla sıcak havalarda araç içinde patlama riski daha az. Kullanıcı kılavuzuna göre 70 dereceye kadar dayanabiliyor. Ben İzmir'de yaşıyorum, burada araç içi sıcaklık yaz aylarında 70 dereceyi de geçebildiği için aracı uzun süreli güneş altına park etmek zorunda kaldığımda kamerayı araçta bırakmıyorum. Arada unutup bıraksam da diğer kameralara oranla içim daha rahat. Torpidoya da koyabilirsiniz tabii.

Kamerayı takıp çıkarması da çok kolay. G500H bu konuda oldukça zorlu bir model, bu ürünü ise rahatça takıp çıkarabiliyorsunuz. Yaz aylarında bu çok önemli bir ayrıntı haline geliyor.

Gerek ön gerek arka kamera bu fiyat bandındaki bütün ürünlerden çok daha iyi çekime sahip. Bundan önce SJCAM SJ5000X Elite aksiyon kamerasını dashcam olarak kullanıyordum ve o da 4K idi. O bozulduğu için bunu aldım ve kullanım amacı özelinde kıyaslarsak bu ürünün de çekim kalitesi SJCAM kadar olmasa da gayet tatmin edici. 70Mai ve G500H ile kıyaslanmayacak kadar daha iyi. Arka kamera tabii ki ön kamera kadar iyi çekmiyor ancak arkadaki araç yakınsa plaka rahatlıkla okunuyor, çekim kalitesi çamur gibi değil. Kanıt amacıyla kullanmak için yeterli, ben beğendim. Akşam ise ön kamera farlar sebebi ile karşıdan gelen araçların plakalarını genellikle gösteremiyor, önünüzde giden araçların plakalarını ise farınızın nereye denk geldiğine bağlı olarak okuyabiliyorsunuz. Arka kamerada biraz çamurlanma başlıyor, ve plaka okuyabilmek için arkadaki aracın oldukça yakın olması lazım.

Çok önemli bir nokta da, loop kayıt esnasında video geçişleri arasında saniye kaybı yok. Bazı kameralarda (mesela G500H) bir videonun tam bittiği an ile diğer videonun başlangıcı aracında 0.5 - 1 sn gibi görüntü kaydedilmeyen an olabiliyor. Bence olası bir kazada ihtimal düşük olsa da tam bu kayıt edilmeyen ana gelmesi sorun olabilir. Bu üründe ise bir video kaydının bitip diğerinin başlaması arasında zaman kaybı gözardı edilebilecek kadar az.

Ürünün menü özellikleri de gayet iyi. GPS, hız, tarih gibi verileri videonun altında gösterip/göstermeme seçenekleri (G500H'de yok), loop video uzunluğunun değiştirilebilmesi (G500H'de bu da yok, o sadece 1 dakika kaydediyor), saati GPS'e göre ayarlayabildiğiniz gibi manuel olarak da ayarlayabilme (G500H'de yok) gibi beklentiye göre ayarlayabildiğiniz özellikler gayet güzel. Özellikle ürünün videolarına özel olarak hazırlanmış ve bilgisayarınıza indirebildiğiniz Redtiger video yazılımı çok başarılı. Bu yazılım ile ekranın bir kısmında video açıkken diğer kısımlarında eşzamanlı olarak hem haritayı, hem hız bilgilerini, hem katedilen mesafeyi görüyor olmanız çok iyi.

Kameranın montajı gayet kolay, üstüne diğer kameralara ek olarak kutu içinde 5 tane bantlı ufak kablo askısı çıkması da çok iyi. Kabloyu içeriden geçiremediğiniz veya geçirmek istemediğiniz yerlerde bu askıları yapıştırarak kablonun sarkmasını engelleyebiliyorsunuz.

Burada ufak bir eksi nokta, benim aracımda ön kamera kablosu da çok rahat yetti, hatta uzun geldiği için bir kısmını toplayıp müsait bir yere sakladım, ancak özellikle ön kamera kablosunun uzunluğunun büyük araçlarda sanki yetmeme ihtimali var gibi geldi bana. Tam uzunluğunu ölçmedim ancak diğer ürünlerde genelde daha uzun kablo oluyor. Arka kamera kablosu ise oldukça uzun, Mercedes S serisinde bile sorun olmaz.

Malzeme kalitesi mükemmel değil, kötü de değil. Gayet iyi. Tuşları ortalama bir hissiyata sahip, kasa ise gayet güzel.

Ben daha yeni aldım ve detaylıca inceleyip kullanmama istinaden şu anda çok memnunum. Eğer kısa sürede bozulmaz ise bugüne kadar kullandığım kameralar arasında fiyatının hakkını ek çok veren ürün olduğunu rahatlıkla söyleyebilirim.

Özetle, ürünün yakın rakama satılan alternatiflerine oranla birçok artısı mevcut. Amazon hızı sağolsun yurtdışından gelmesine rağmen 1 hafta civarı bir sürede de teslim edildi.

Kesinlikle tavsiye ediyorum.
