La seule chose, c’est que je trouve que les bruits 1 à 7 sont très semblables et c’est pour cela 4 étoiles et non 5. Sinon, c’est un bon produit que tout le monde devrait avoir.

Likes: No bluetooth or phone apps to download, which was important for me as I'm trying to keep my phone out of the bedroom. 25 sounds, from white noise to thunderstorms, as well as many color options for sleep timer. Three tones for wakeup (I like the birds). I didn't find the sunrise jarring, as others have said, for wakeup (I use the 15 minute option, but there are MANY timer options for both the alarm and sleep timer). I really like the fact you can adjust the alarm volume, soundscape volume, numerical display brightness, and light brightness. Lots of options!
Dislikes: Some of the sounds have questionable quality (although I did find a few I like, and that's enough for me). The buttons aren't illuminated, so to program or change display, you either have to memorize placement, or have another light source handy. Same to turn the alarm off. Instead of an obvious button, its a random little button in the series. At least it has two raised bumps, so I just "feel around" for it. But anyone with sensory impairment might have difficulty with that. I haven't installed or tested the backup battery, so I can't speak to that.
All in all, it's a great little clock for the price!

The media could not be loaded.
 So, I haven’t actually used it yet, BUT, I’ve set it up and it was super easy. It’s a nice simple design and the reason I bought it was the ability to dim or even turn off the display. (I can’t stand hotel alarm clocks - too bright).

I don’t like that the button to turn off the alarm is a random one in the line of buttons…but I’m sure I’ll get used to it (I would have used the big button for on/off…that’s the snooze button). Anyone who is buying this alarm, likely knows that hitting snooze is terrible for your sleep health, so I don’t think that button needed to be the obvious one.

I’m trying to break my habit of looking at my phone before bed and first thing when I wake up. Hoping this helps me.

This clock does mostly what it should. Based on my research, I was already aware that the battery backup will not trigger the alarm sound in the event of a power outage. However, I still cannot rate it five stars when I feel one of the basic features of an alarm clock is to still operate the alarm in a power outage.

The other issue I faced was that on day five of using this alarm clock, the audio portion of the alarm did NOT sound, and the sunrise light alone is not enough to wake me up. Thankfully I kept my phone beside me with the alarm set while first using this alarm clock. I verified the settings and it was set to alarm sound number two which is the beep. So having said that, IMHO this alarm clock will never be 100% reliable to go off and wake me up, and I must now keep my phone near me as a backup.

Still giving it three stars as it does its other advertised features quite well and for a decent price. However, wouldn't recommend usage for people that would primarily rely on this alone to wake them up for work or other things that requires a failsafe alarm.

I will note that this specific design is used under a different brand name other than Reacher, such as HOUSBAY. So it's not like this is a specific design from Reacher.

Release an R8 with battery backup that will still operate the audio alarm in a power outage, fix the audio portion of the alarm to be reliable (see above issue I had), and perhaps add a second alarm function (dual alarm), and you'll have a five star product on your hands.

First off, this device is very easy to set up with tons of options, pretty thorough instructions, and a simple, sleek, and modern design. The sound options are very good and the white/brown noises very soothing. The brightness settings are also great, allowing for different settings during the day or night.

The biggest change for me however has been in the morning. I bought this on a lark, thinking things like the Hatch alarm clock were stupid but deciding to take the plunge. I take this thing with me everywhere now. The difference I feel in my stress and anxiety levels throughout the day after waking up with the clock’s light is insane. I also sleep far better with the sounds while the soft light doesn’t disturb me.
