Amazing sound
They're so comfortable that I forgot to take them out when I was done. The sound is unbelievable....it sounds like it's coming from a top of the line home theatre system in your living room. It doesn't sound like it's coming from earbuds.I know they're expensive but if you want to experience absolutely the best, they're worth every cent.Everywhere I go, I'm listening to a home theater system. Bliss.

I tried the Sonys first and they are a joke relative. Sound quality is fantastic (makes me feel guilty for not using my nicer pears of headphones but these are just so easy) and noise cancelling is next level (this is where the Sony's really let me down). Comfort is also fantastic while staying snug (no worries about them falling out). 100% would recommend

I used to prefer over-ear headphones, but these earbuds are more comfortable.
They fit my ears without having to make any adjustments. I enjoy using them during workouts because they do not slip out and sweat is not a problem.
Sound is great over the whole spectrum and I can hear details I never heard in songs before.
So far, I did not have any connection problems or sound issues.
Thanks to the box, they are always charged.
Well worth the money.

Initially the audio was cutting in and out. That issue was fixed once I changed it to the motion mode. Then they kept falling out of my ears. And worst of all, after two days the left earbud just stopped connecting. I tried resetting as directed on the bose website and still no luck. When it worked for the one day the sound quality was great and the ANC was even better but unfortunately I received a defective product.

Lastly, considering this is an almost $400 product, it feels cheap, especially the charging case.

I have been a fan of Beats most of my life and with a little bit of research, I decided to buy the Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra. Sound amazing, fits great in my small ears and I like the look of 50-year-old ears. It did take a day to get used to the toppings and touch etc..

I've been looking into upgrading from my Sony WF-1000XM4's and I thought these might have been the ones but there are a few things I find important that have lead me to consider a return of these buds.

1. Touch controls. I use them all the time. I love the ability of switching between ANC/ transparent modes and even just pressing pause/play without having to take out the buds. But the touch controls on this really suck, especially when compared to the Sony's. When I tap to pause it takes 1.5-2 seconds to pause my music, and this pause occurs even when I take out the earbud to listen/ pause! All touch controls on this unit have this delay really. Compared to the Sony which has a response time of under 1s.
As well, you gotta be both gentle with your tap but not too soft or it won't register, but the microphone picks up most taps and creates a pretty uncomfortable amplified tap sound when using the controls.
Again, compared to the Sony's which muffle the taps and even add a quiet beep so you know your tap was registered.
The only redeeming control these buds vs Sony's is the volume control, which honestly is really nice.

2. Left ear buzzing. Seems to be a common issue that many face where when it's quiet and have ANC on I'll hear buzzing in the left ear unit. Honestly it's not too noticeable but it's definitely present, even in quiet parts of songs. The worst is I hear it could potentially get worse, so for a 300$ pair of earbuds I don't find that too acceptable.

3. Connectivity. I constantly have issues with connectivity on these buds. When I put them in sometimes they won't connect until I hop into the app to connect them. Which by the way, the app is a buggy nightmare of me constantly closing + reopening to try and connect and even just access settings when I do.

Despite all of this, the ANC + transparency modes are quite impressive, the sound quality is superb and the build quality is quite nice. They also fit really nice in the ear without the need of foam buds.
But the above concerns outweigh these unfortunately.

I’ve trouble shouted all the problems many times so please take this from someone who has struggled with this product since I bought them six months ago.

Touch controls are decent. Sound quality (when connected) is decent. Noise cancelling is good but not any better than less expensive high end competitors.

Bluetooth connectivity is poor. Stable for 10mins, then disconnects for a few seconds, they reconnects with the left and right being out of sync. After six months the Bluetooth connection is what’s completely failed now leaving me $400 in the hole and searching for something to replace them.

My advise to those reading this is to look elsewhere. I’m not here to promote other brands, so you’ll need to do your own research, but I would stay well clear of these. They’re just not worth the money or headache.

For the last 3 months, I wanted to find a pair of wireless earbuds that were, at the very least, comfortable.

My previous pair of wireless earbuds, Sony's WFSP800N were, by far, the most comfortable wireless earbuds I have ever experienced. That being said, they're going on four years old. They disconnected randomly from my phone, they often remained on when I put them in their charging case, and on a few occasions, just my sweat would be enough to trigger the touch sensors and either skip or pause whatever song I was listening to.

So, I set out to try just about every major brand that *wasn't* Sony this time around.
I tried the top of the line in the $200 price range from Jabra, Beats, and Sennheiser.
Jabra was by far the one I wanted to succeed the most. I picked up the Jabra Elite 8. The sound was good. Noise cancelling was automatic and easy to cycle. And the fact that the materials were military grade and built to withstand just about anything really sold me. Unfortunately, prolonged wear hurt my right ear. I returned them a few days later and tried the Beats Fit Pro. I thought that the wings would provide stabilization and comfort. I was wrong. I didn't even get a chance to really try them out. My ears were in agonizing pain due to the rigidity of the wings. I returned them the same day I bought them. I had high hopes for Sennheiser, and though they sounded amazing, they hurt in the same way that Jabra did.

Cue Bose to come in. The thing that set them apart from the competition were the comfort wings. They come in three different sizes. I tried using the medium wings first, but prolonged use still caused pain in just my right ear, even though my left was fine. The small wings though fit perfectly in both, and have not created any issues of discomfort or pain. They're actually on par comfort wise with the Sony earbuds I got almost 4 years ago.

Now, the sound was night and day to anything I have ever tried before. The sheer depth of everything was immaculate, and with the app you can adjust the different tones accordingly. But the features that won out was the noise cancelling "quiet" mode, the sound heightening "immersion" mode, and the all around "aware" mode.
These are the best noise cancelling earbuds I have ever experienced with the quiet mode. The immersion mode let's you listen to music in all levels around you as if you're sitting in the middle of an orchestra. The aware mode transfers sound from the outside to you as if you aren't wearing headphones at all.

All three modes are miles above the other competing products I have bought. But the Aware mode is absolutely amazing as any other version of this sounds Tinny or Electronic. This was the first time I have ever forgotten I was even wearing headphones. The music may not have been playing, but the background noise was so clear that I just didn't need to take the headphones out and put them away. This actually made it easy to listen to music at a low volume and still be able to keep up with concentrating on conversations or work place activities and lectures.

The case uses the USB C charging cable, and you get a full charge if it's completely dead in about 2 hours. That being said, I probably get about 6 to 8 hours with consecutive use of the earbuds on a single charge. With the charging case, I can probably go 20 to 25 hours without needing to recharge. But what I love is that not only will the earbuds audibly tell you when they are low after they've been sitting in the case, the case itself has a light indicator to tell you when the charging battery is drained.

Overall, is this worth $300? Considering it blew every other $200 competitor, including my original earbuds out of the water (which I paid $250 for when they were released near 4 years ago), I would say that TO ME, they are worth the money. I'm not comparing them to current Sonys on the market, nor have I ever tried the Quiet Comfort 2s. If you feel that it isn't big enough of a jump, then cool. But to me, comparing them to all of the earbuds that caused me pain, I do feel like this is a case of "Getting Your Money's Worth."

I sincerely like these, and I am happy I spent the money for the sake of impressive comfort and impressive sound quality.
