I've been looking for a sleeping pad for hiking. I have a large one for car camping, but it's too big and heavy for a backpack. I tried a couple of smaller pads and they aren't comfortable for sleeping - one is basically good for keeping you off the cold ground and nothing more.So I'm glad to find this product that is right-sized, right-weighted, compact, and comfortable.Packed size: It's a little wide, but similar in height to my tiny 1L travel bottle. This easy fits inside my day backpack...although I don't know of any backpack where it would fit in the mesh bottle holder on the side as pictured in the listing. No clips on the supplied carry bag, although the drawstring could be tied into a clip.Inflated size: Just wide enough to toss and turn. Would love another 10cm of width, but appreciate the small size more.Weight: It weighs the same as my full water bottle. About 1kg. Perfect.Inflation: The foot pump is usable, but I definitely can't inflate it in a minute. Still, it does (eventually) inflate, or it takes seconds with my portable vacuum cleaner. It does inflate to about 10cm, plenty to protect from twigs and pebbles. The fabric is solid enough that punctures on reasonably swept ground shouldn't be an issue, although you'll want to bring the patch kit just in case. It seems more solid than other pads I've tried.Comfort: Comfort is adequate. I slept on it last night and made it through the night (though not without rolling off once.) The "pillow" is a non-factor like most pads, rising maybe 1cm off the rest of the pad. I will always bring a travel pillow, as much for the plane/car ride as sleeping on the pad. It's not ready for a college dorm room every night, but will suffice for camping a few nights.Warmth: None as far as I can tell.I think I've found what I'm looking for on a lightweight overnight hike. No need for a monster sleeping bag and heavy pad. Just a tarp, ultralight tent, a bed cover (beach towel?) and this pad...and a warm summer evening.

Surprised at how thick and comfy this inflates. Foot pump is a breeze and no power source needed. Packs up really light. I bought a pad to go over it but could use as is and be pretty comfy.

Okay, so this thing really elevated my camping experience. It's not exactly perfect but I'm still giving it 5 stars. The only fault I can find is that it kind of stains easily (I used it at a mountain bike race and kneeling on it while sweaty left some permanent marks on it) and that it is a bit noisy due to the material.

HOWEVER, it packs very small (car camping; though this COULD be added to a backpack)... it's MUCH smaller and a bit lighter than my SINGLE sized self-inflating pad.

It pumps up within a few mins of stepping on the built-in foot pump. It deflates WAY easier than the self-inflating pad which is like a 3-4 step process of squeezing all the air out. Overall, it's easier to both inflate and deflate vs. my self-inflating one (which still requires me blowing extra air via my mouth). Plus, it's twice the size, a bit more comfortable, and packs much much smaller.

I'm lightweight (150 lbs) and found it very comfortable to sleep on. Loved the extra size as I could move around and never felt the edges.

Not sure about durability in the long-term but there are no glaring concerns to suggest it's going to leak. It came with some patches so if it does happen at least there's hope of fixing it.

I've already bought a second as I camp with the MEC Lodge 4+4 tent and these fit perfectly in the two rooms, occupying most of the floor space. One of the better camping purchases I've ever made.

After trying 2 other sleeping pads for camping this one is finally acceptable! I bought a self inflating one first which turned out to be a lie, it doesn't inflation all at, the foam just expanded. Then I bought a real inflatable, not self inflating, but at least it did. It had an x pattern and at certain parts felt like you are sitting on the ground. As a side sleeper it was hit or miss if your hip was on an inflated part or one of the cross gaps that didn't inflate.

Thankfully landed on this qpau and it actually keeps my hips off the ground with no pressure points. I took one star off because it does get a bit noisy when you move on it but I'm a deep sleeper and with some white noise or nature just being loud, that can be easily remedied.

Haven't taken it camping yet since we're still testing at home. But at least it comes with stickers for potential leaks. I'm not confident this has any R value, but I plan to fix that with some cheap ikea mattress protector and warmer sleeping bag. Worst case, we wear layers to bed. These are actually pretty good for guests sleeping over too.

First one didn't work out for me as the air was leaking for some reason. Then the supplier generously offered the replacement at no cost!!! Who does that these days?? I really appreciate their customer service. You can tell if people genuinely care about their product, they would make sure the customer is happy with their product. Since then, I've used this product several times for camping. The air keeps really nicely the next morning and it's thick enough I don't feel the ground even when I'm a side sleeper!

We tried this model and chose the beige color because it was cheaper. Generally, when I'm lying down, my eyes are closed, so I didn't see the point in paying more for a different color. It's easy to inflate, easy to roll up, and it comes with some repair tape in case you get any pin-sized holes. It do what it's made for.

My Walmart mattress kept deflating and I was on a search for something better. I researched about 8 and decided on this one. It inflates super quick with the foot pump which is built in, about 60 seconds. I can also inflate with my auto pump if I don’t want to manually do it. The mattress stayed inflated all night in extreme hot and cold weather temps. 108 and 30. Had a good night sleep. It’s very compact and durable. Only thing I didn’t like is the material is slippery and my bag is also slippery so upon shifting I would slide around a bit. Easy fix as I can lay a towel in between. Overall I would recommend this product and I bought 2 of them.
