Will black spots appear on the projector screen?

The Apollo P40 has fully sealed optics that prevent dust from entering, so the black spots will not appear on the screen.

How to activate auto-focus and keystone correction?

Simply press the auto focus button on the remote or move the projector slightly. Please keep the projection distance at a maximum of 9.84 feet for better autofocus effect and use "F+" or "F-" button to adjust the sharpness.

Does it support mirror Netflix content from smartphones?

Due to HDCP copyright, the projector doesn't support cast Netflix content from smartphones directly. Please use a TV stick, Chromecast, and Roku to enjoy Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime video.

Why is there no sound after connecting the TV stick?

This is my first projector and I am extremely happy with it. The image quality is great, and so is the audio.

It’s easy to set up. Just place, plug in, connect hdmi device and play. My Xbox One games work fine but there’s a delay and bit of a lag with my Xbox series X games so I don’t recommend it for next generation consoles. Nintendo switch games work fine as well.

Auto focus and auto keystone correction work great and make life easier. Little needs to be done with placing or correcting the image once projected. The option to manually zoom and adjust brightness, contrast, sharpness, etc. is also available.

I’m casting the image at about 120 inches on a teal coloured wall about 13 feet away and I am pleased with the image colour and quality. Naturally it looks better/more enhanced in a dark room but it’s still watchable in a lit up room. I can only imagine how much brighter and more defined the image would be with a quality projector screen or at least some HD projector wall paint.

Audio from the projector speakers are impressive and will suffice if you don’t have an audio system or external speakers, but I always recommend a set of decent speakers to add to the experience.

I didn’t notice much (if any) difference in picture quality while streaming netflix in 1080P on my Xbox One compared to streaming in 2160 on my Xbox series X. I even played a 4K disc and there was still no noticeable difference between that and the 1080P display.

In the end, I’m giving this product 5 stars for exceeding my expectation and for being listed at such a great price. If you’re looking for your first good quality budget projector, for casual or home theatre use, this product will not disappoint.

Great device, as advertised, swift delivery, easy setup, works seamlessly with my speakers and AppleTV. I was impressed with the brightness and clarity, even with the window open and daylight coming in, and with the lamp on.

The best part is that the projection is adjustable, even if the device itself is on a surface that’s lopsided the display can be manually adjusted to compensate for the odd angle.

Well worth the investment.

Fantastic projector, lots of great features, brilliant image quality my only complaints are as follows. According to windows the projector is not HDR compatible despite it being advertised as such, secondly there is dust within my projector, behind the lens creating a black squiggle, giving the projector a wiggle got the dust out so I’m a bit skeptical about the advertised 99.9% dust proof claim. All things considered I would definitely recommend this projector especially for the price point.

I bought this to use in my bedroom the autofocus is not that great sometimes works, and sometimes doesn't. very poor corner correction. and not very bright can not use it during the day or have lights on

This projector is not just great value, it provides excellent picture quality regardless of price. Brightness, Contrast, Sharpness, etc. all easily adjustable to suit personal preference. User interface is very friendly and easy to navigate.
But most importantly to me, their customer service if fantastic. I had a small issue with picture lag and they were quick to send me a file update that resolved the issue.
I would definitely recommend trying this product before spending hundreds, if not more, for a much more expensive item.

This is honestly such a great projector for the price. I wanted an inexpensive projector to use with my blow-up outdoor movie screen, and to use in my cigar room when the weather outside isn't as good. With the Anker battery pack, blow-up screen, and portable speakers I can literally set this up anywhere in 5 minutes and have an outdoor theater. I'd also like to give a shout-out to their customer service, who was incredibly responsive and helpful. The cooling fan inside got a bit off-balance and would often make a loud noise, and they immediately sent me another one, then just had me ship the original one back in the box (I didn't have to ship mine in first and be without it). They followed up, they made sure I was happy, I'm very happy with them. Now, for the pros and cons:

Pros:

This is lightweight, but still solidly built. It doesn't feel cheap. The auto-focus and auto-keystone both work really well (although the lights really need to be off before you turn it on or it won't work as well). If you need to, though, you can easily and accurately focus it with the remote. It can rear-project (which I do with the outdoor blow-up screen), front-project, and project upside-down (to mount on the ceiling). It is partially a "smart" device, although they don't pay the licensing fees to the major networks so you'll still need something like a Fire Stick. The picture quality is very good, especially for this price. It has a USB port on it in order to power a device (like my Fire Stick).

Cons:

Honestly, at this price point anything I mention here is nitpicking a bit . . . but still things you would want to know before you buy. While you *can* connect it to Bluetooth speakers, if you are using it with a Fire Stick or something else plugged into HDMI, the lag is pretty annoying. This isn't really the fault of the projector, but something to plan for. I just connected my Fire Stick to the Bluetooth speakers directly, which works well. The interface on it is a little kludgy, but I only use it to reverse the image or select the input so it works fine for me.

I honestly can't find anything else to fault it with. Could it be brighter? Sure, but not at this price point. In my patio with a streetlight nearby, rear projecting a 16ft image is a little on the dark side but a 10ft image in a dark room is perfect. I'm reasonably sure that a 16ft front-projected image in a dark room would be great.

If I was the engineer I'd add 2 things. I would make the screw that comes out of the bottom to tilt it be designed to be a lot longer (or telescopic), the keystone limit is way above the limit of the screw. Not a big deal at all, I just put a small block under it. The second would be a video delay so that you could match the sound after going through both HDMI and Bluetooth. But neither of those things are necessary, just thoughts for future versions.

To wrap up this book I've now written, if you want a basic projector for a great price with a decent warranty and great quality . . . I'd buy this one hands-down. If you have the money for a brighter 4K fully-smart device, then you aren't looking at this one. Since I move this a lot and even travel with it, I didn't want to spend a fortune on it and I couldn't be happier with it.

This projector is absolutely amazing, the autofocus and keystone works perfectly and the speakers sound incredible. It also has quiet fans which only reach 40 decibels. The screen is very bright and can be seen realy well and provides an awesome picture. There is only one hdmi port available which means you may be limited but since it also comes with features like airplay it is worth it. The outer case on the projector is also very appealing to the eyes and its size allows you to move it around. Buy this projector it is amazing.

Come acquisto di primo proiettore ''da casa'' è sicuramente approvato.

La definizione dell'immagine è buona e soddisfacente così come la luminosità (considerata in un utilizzo non diurno). Il Keystone e la messa a fuoco automatica (caratteristiche de-selezionabili, in caso, da menu interno) permettono un utilizzo veloce e alla portata di tutti in pochissimi secondi.

Valutate sempre il posizionamento del proiettore: se troppo inclinato rispetto alla parete, può sfocare l'immagine ai bordi (fino a 15-20 gradi non si verifica un particolare disturbo).

Il contrasto è leggermente più alto e i colori sono fedeli (forse leggermente più freddi rispetto al mio schermo retina Macbook pro).

Inaspettato il comparto audio che permette una buona godibilità dei suoni anche ad alto volume senza troppe distorsioni e che nasconde i naturali rumori di ventilazione.

Il design compatto (senza lenti esterne e con un bel materiale con effetto soft touch) è sicuramente azzeccato, rimango solo perplesso sulla scelta del ''disco'' sulla parte superiore che pare non avere nessuna funzione.

Note:
- La porta HDMI rimane sul lato destro mentre quella di caricamento sul retro
- il cavo HDMI non è particolarmente lungo
- interfaccia di accensione seppure pratica e user friendly non di particolare design
- pile del telecomando non incluse nella confezione
- al momento (1 mese dopo l'acquisto, dicembre) non ho riscontrato problemi di surriscaldamento
