After a lot of research, we selected this screen based on reviews and comparisons. It is exactly what we were looking for and expecting!
Set up is definitely easier with 2 people, but it can be done alone. With 2 adults, it took about 5-10 min. The material stretches out nicely for a wrinkle free picture. There are a few creases in the material, but they can be easily steamed out and aren’t noticeable once used with projector.
We bought the 120 inch (it’s huge) which is a bit big for outdoor use as it can catch wind (due to size and plastic frame). However, we just put it in front of a fence and it works well. There is a nice weighted option for the base and loops at the top to allow for thin rope to attach to fence and keep it very stable. The lightweight frame makes it very portable and easy to use (what we were wanting it for).
We watched a movie indoors during the day with blinds closed (but still light enough for my daughter to paint a craft) and were impressed with the brightness and clarity of the picture. Obviously not optimal, but better than we expected. In darker lighting, very clear and crisp! We were pleasantly surprised to be able to use it in ambient type lighting! Movie nights can start earlier, which is perfect!
Overall, we love it for portable movie nights and would buy it again!
