  1. After connecting the mini projector, select an appropriate signal source [HDMI] or [USB]. If it shows "no signal", press the [Back] key on the remote control, go back to the main menu, and re-select the signal source.
  2. The quality of Type-C to HDMI adapters on the market varies, we recommend that you purchase a Miracast HDMI Dongle or Chromecast HDMI dongle for a wireless connection, and make sure that your smartphone has a Screen Mirroring/Screen Projection function.
  3. Not all devices support HDMI adapter connections, please check whether your device supports the protocol of DP Alt Mode before buying Type-C to HDMI adapter. For the Samsung Galaxy Flip series, Samsung A series phone/J6/J7/M20/M30s, Huawei Series, Xiaomi Series, Redmi Series, and One Plus Series, you need to purchase an additional Dongle for wireless connection.

1. Why can't I play Netflix/Hulu/Prime Video videos on this mini projector?

Please notice that streaming services do NOT support screen mirroring due to copyright protections. You can hook up a streaming stick like Fire TV Stick or Roku Stick to the projector via HDMI port or use HDMI Cable to connect your PC/Laptop to stream on the mini projector.

2. Why is there no sound when playing video?

Most projectors on the market do not support Dolby audio. If there is no sound, please check if Dolby Audio is turned off. Besides, some files encoded by Dolby/AC3/DTS may not be able to play sound due to copyright issues.

You can turn off Dolby audio on the streaming media like Netflix: Settings > Display & Sounds > Audio > Dolby Digital Output > Dolby Digital (OFF)

3. Why can't my flash drive be recognized when I insert it to the mini projector?

Please check the Hardware Interface of your flash drive. The mini projector features a USB 2.0 interface, and only supports USB 2.0 USB flash drive with memory less than 64GB(interface color: black). USB 3.0 USB flash drive is not supported(interface color: blue).

4. What should I do if the screen shows "no signal"?

Please note that you need to select the appropriate signal source [HDMI] or [USB] after connecting your device to the video projector. If it shows "no signal" at the beginning, you can select the [Back] key on the remote control to return to the main menu and re-select the signal source.

5. When I connect the Firestick, can the power supply end of the Firestick be plugged into the projector at the same time?

Yes, a certain distance is specially set between the HDMI and USB ports of the Y3 mini projector, as the distance between the two interfaces of most projectors is very close, which brings inconvenience to the use of the TV stick. Such an interface layout is to facilitate the connection of TV sticks and other similar devices.

6. What should I do if there is a black spot on the screen?

Since the projector is not sealed, it is relatively common for the dust to enter the lens through the vents or speakers. You can remove the sticker on the bottom center of the projector, then open the black cover and clean it with a cotton swab.

Note: Be careful not to look directly into the light source of the projector.

Exactly what I was looking for in an Art Projector
I tried to buy an art projector on amazon a few months ago, but had to return it because the min distance between projector and paper was too big, and the image was too big, the photo had to be zoomed out, making it blurry.After looking through all the projectors, I decided to give this a go since it promised a min projection distance of 80cm with screen size of 30" and zoom functionality.I'm happy to report that I am easily able to view the image on my sketchbook by placing the projector on my desk and sketchbook on the floor. I'm able to get an even smaller projection size using the zoom. By importing the image/sketch into procreate, and I can adjust the position to match the paper without losing detail.The only slight con is that I didn't realize it wasn't bluetooth, so three wires need to be used (power, usb c, hdmi) but I'm glad they included an hdmi cable.

 I've only had this around a week, but here's the rundown:

Amazing quality for price. I figured the video might be choppy, but I've only used it with HDMI and it might as well be a TV.

The angle of projection is NOT adjustable; in my video, the front of the projector is about 8 feet from the wall. White walls, incidentally, are the best screens.

You CAN tilt the image a bit, but the top and/or bottom may come slightly out of focus. No issue for movies, but could be annoying working with text or spreadsheets. Better to raise the projector and get it projecting straight on, and for that it thoughtfully includes a standard screw hole for tripods mounts.

The button speaker is about the quality and volume of laptop speakers.

Pro tip: Fiddle with the second-screen resolution settings on your laptop - it has 16 resolution settings, from 800 x 600 (for easy reading) all the way up to 1920 x 1080 for high def movies. Some of the settings offer different aspect ratios, to use the most area of your screen without spillover.

In short, I'm a happy camper.

Bought this last minute for an outdoor movie night with friends. Hooked up no problem with my MacBook Pro (used as a 2nd screen to ensure no media playback issues).
Needs to be decently dark to see properly (which was fine given we wanted to watch the movie at night), but the picture was sharp and clear (projector was 10ft from screen).

 I was a bit hesitant to buy any of the budget projectors on Amazon, to be honest. I was worried the quality or brightness wouldn’t be good enough to decently watch tv. The video was taken in a relatively dark room, but during the day just with the blinds closed. The speaker quality is surprisingly good! Goes pretty loud and clear. The picture quality is good even in a slightly brighter room but of course, best in a darker one. The quality is constant regardless of the size that you set it, which was an unexpected quality. Oh! And the fan (compared to my last projector) is practically silent. If you’re deciding whether to get this one or not, BUY IT! I spent forever looking at every projector Amazon had in the $50-$150 range and this one definitely didn’t disappoint!!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
