I wasn’t expecting much when I ordered a projector at this price point. Perhaps I should have.
Upon opening the box, I found a simple yet form-fitting zipper case with which to carry the projector. Such an accessory improves the quality of life of a projector immensely, because at least in my case, I won’t be always leaving the projector set up.
The zipper case holds all the accessories, plus contains two Velcro straps for keeping the projector snug when storing/travelling with it.
The projector also comes with a 3-year warranty card, which shows the company has confidence in their product.
I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to set up: the projector includes a mini tripod with a rotating ball which can be used to adjust the positioning of the projector. Fairly easy to set up the optimal angle. Furthermore, the projector is fairly light. Only issue is you can’t tilt it super far back or else the weight of the projector will cause the stand to tip – it’s sort of a bonus, so I think it’s fair not to expect much, especially at this price point.
PICTURE QUALITY
It’s actually very decent. It’s accurate, vibrant. The focus gets a little blurry towards the edges on my setup. Colours pop, and the image is very smooth – I was using the projector for some light gaming, and I didn’t notice anything aberrant compared to my Samsung TV. It also has built-in speakers, which frankly don’t sound very good, but they’re there.
OVERALL
If you want to pick up a projector for your setup, but don’t want to invest a ton of money, look no further. This projector has it all and more for its price point. It’s a low footprint, all-in-one setup that’s easy to put up and take down whenever you need it. It’s convenient, smartly designed, and well-built.
