Tips on connecting the projector:
Not recommended for office use where high resolution is required. It is recommended to use this projector in a dark environment.
Not Very Loud. This projector is very mini and portable, if you find that the volume cannot meet your needs, it is recommended to use an external speaker.
Not used product. AKIYO never sells products returned by customers. If you find that the packaging is damaged, it is likely due to logistics. please let us know as soon as possible.
No battery. The projector must always be connected to a power source in order to operate.
Warm Tips: Copyright-protected videos such as Netflix, Amazon Prime may not be supported for direct playback through mobile phones, and a black screen may appear. Please connect to a TV stick to play copyright restricted videos.

Connecting a PC/Game/TV Box/Fire TV Stick/ROKU: Use HDMI interface. (includes HDMI cable. Please make sure the HDMI cable is inserted tightly into the HDMI ports on both ends.)
Connecting to iPhone/iPad: Need to purchase extra an additional Apple Lightning to Digital AV Adapter or Wireless Dongle HDMI.
Connecting an Android device: Need to purchase extra an USB-C to HDMI cable or Wireless Dongle HDMI.
Connecting Speaker: Please use a 3.5mm audio cable in order to connect the audio port and the speaker. The projector does not support Bluetooth connection to speakers.
Connecting USB Flash Dis: Play video Directly plays the video in Pendrive through the USB port.
Not all phone models support HDMI adapter connections. Please check that your phone supports Type-C video output before connecting.
For example, to connect Samsung A series or Sony X series, please purchase separately: dongle. These phones do not support the Type-C to HDMI cable function. The dongle is the perfect solution for this connection problem.

- Tips for Getting the Best Images:
1. Ensure that your projector lens is perpendicular to the wall so that the projection screen is a standard rectangle.
2. Adjust the keystone correction and focus wheel slowly so that the projection is clear. For the best image, it is recommended that you use this projector in a dark environment.

An additional zoom function helps to reduce the image size. Helps to reduce from 100% to 75%.

1. Ceiling Mount: The AKIYO projector can be suspended, simply remove the screw cap to easily mount the projector on the suspension bracket.

- 1. Why does a black screen appear when playing a video after connecting to a mobile phone?
It may be because the video you are playing on your mobile phone is a copyright-restricted video. Please check whether the video you are playing is a streaming video with copyright restrictions such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. If so, please connect TV Stick/Roku/Chromecast to play these videos.
- 2. Why can't I play Netflix/Amazon Prime/Disney videos?
Some streaming videos or shows (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney) are protected by copyright and are therefore protected. You can connect the projector to your laptop to play the video or use your Fire Stick to enjoy the video.
- 3. Why can't my mobile phone transfer video via a Type-C to HDMI cable?
Due to mobile operator restrictions, some phones cannot output video through the Type-C port. For example, Samsung A series / Sony X series / some Xiaomi phones. If it is not supported, using a wireless dongle to connect your phone can solve this problem perfectly.
Additionally, Google phones are unable to transfer video through cables because they have special privacy protocols.
- 4. Why is there no sound when playing videos?
The projector does not support Dolby Audio. If there is no sound in the video, please check if Dolby Audio is turned off or switched to surround sound.
- 5. When connecting the Firestick, can I connect the power side of the Firestick to the projector at the same time?
AKIYO's mini projectors have enough distance between the HDMI and USB ports to connect both the TV Stick and the TV Stick's power supply at the same time. Other projectors require the USB power supply of the TV Stick to be plugged into another socket when the TV Stick is plugged in.
- 6. What if there is black spots in the projected image that cannot be resolved by wiping the lens?
1. Please refer to the following operation guide, and you can also find the related operation video in the page video!
2. Remove the label on the bottom of the projector and open the cover. Clean the inside of the projector with a cotton swab.
3. After wiping, you will notice that the dust is gone. When wiping, please look at the projection screen to operate, so you can see the exact location of the dust.

For the price, it’s definitely a yes.
Okay- here’s some quick points about it.- Sound quality: comes straight from projector. It’s not amazing, but it’s definitely not bad.- Colour quality: It does seem a little over saturated, but thing too bad.- Picture quality: decent. Could be better, but it could just be because I have it on a textured wall.- It can connect to anything uses HDMI. It does have a USB flash drive spot. Although it doesn’t seem like you can connect it to your phone.- it can be a little difficult to position, but that could’ve just been a me thing.- It has a controller, that requires 2 AAA batteries, that it does not come with. Although it does have buttons to control it on the top of the projector itself as well.- It has 2 dials on the side, “Keystone” which tilts the “screen” and “focus” which, well… focuses it-- There is a headphone jack, although I don’t have headphones like that. So idk how well it works.I got this to turn my wall into a TV to binge the Hazbin Hotel release this weekend with my friends. The “screen” is crooked, although that’s because of how I have it set on my desk.Being in a college dorm, it’s definitely a great addition. And for $80 CAD, or $50 if you have access to the coupon that’s there right now, it’s something I’d definitely recommend.

It's a nice projector. Works really well! I was able to connect my Samsung S22 using the hdmi cable (with a type-c to hdmi adapter, I bought separately) I still have to check how it will work with my laptop. But overall it's a good product. Just a note, I've been reading that people used this outdoors and for camping. But I found out this projector needs to be plugged in an electrical outlet to function. So unless you have an electrical source outside, this won't work. Also I still have to see how its speaker will work. When I plugged in my phone, the sound came from my phone, not the projector itself. So keep in mind that you may need to buy a separate wired speaker.
The projector came with an hdmi cable, power cable, tripod, and remote. The packaging was nice and clean. The projector is small and cute. Slightly larger than a regular sized hand. So very easy to pack.

I connected my laptop to the projector. And the projector's speaker is surprisingly loud. Very pleased with it!
