This projector is amazing! The picture quality works best in a dark room. The sound is pretty impressive although you're going to want to invest in a speaker to hook up. Hard to hear over eating popcorn or any chatter during a movie night. For the price I am very satisfied with this purchase. Fan sound is minimal. Haven't found out how to hook up wifi and mirror android, believe I'll need an adapter, will figure it out! For now I'm using my cable box with Amazon Prime 😃☺️

Extremely happy with this projector! It was easy to hook up to my laptop and an external speaker. The only reason I give it a 4 rating is because I have yet to be able to connect the projector to WIFI. I've followed all of the steps given but still no luck. It finds all of the available wifi connections but will never connect even when sitting near the router. No other devices in the house have an issue connecting so I suspect it's an issue with the projector. I had no problem connecting an I Phone using a cord. However, my Samsung Galaxy 9 PLUS will NOT connect using a cord. It's like the projector doesn't recognize it. Other than those items the projector works great!

I have had it for almost a month now, and I love it. The picture quality is amazing and very clear. I also like that you can hook up a lot of different things like an iPhone, DVD player, or PS4. The projector didn't take long to set up and it was also really easy. Another feature I like is the remote control. I found it very useful and I could shut it off without leaving the couch. I encourage anybody looking for a new projector to by this one. You will love it.

TRASH if you need a WiFi projector

If you plug something into this, it works. If you want to stream from a device over WiFi, it is an absolute piece of garbage.

Before any trolls start, I have top-level wi-fi in my home, not an ordinary or cheap connection, so understand I have the technical capacity to discern that this projector is the problem, not me as the user.

I purchased this projector so I could stream Netflix in my Gazebo to have outdoor movie nights. There are multiple problems with this device that make it incapable of doing what I need it to do. I will have to either connect an Apple TV to the projector or connect an HDMI device like a DVD player to watch movies in the gazebo.

It can handle YouTube from a streaming device, but not Netflix. It can't even do Netflix if you connect the phone/iPad/Mac mini with a USB cable. This is not a full resolution streaming projector, at all.

So, if you are going to buy one of these, with its menu full of typos (unreal errors, to be honest, just unreal) and English irregularities, you need to only purchase this if you intend to connect an HDMI capable device.

Further, this device comes with a 3-foot power cord. Excuse me, but am I the only person who can't get a projector to the middle of an area with a three foot cord.

So imagine this: I bought this and a screen to have a movie in my outdoor gazebo streamed from Netflix. Now, I have to run extension cords, use an HDMI cable, set up some kind of table at the right height to hold all these devices and then potentially trip over all the electrical if I get up for a snack.

The projector wasn't particularly expensive, but any amount is too much if it won't do what it is advertised to do.

DO NOT BUY THIS PROJECTOR IF YOU WANT TO STREAM NETFLIX OR ANY OTHER HIGH RESOLUTION IMAGES.

For the price you can't really complain. Don't expect all the bells and whistles for $150. Yah the sound sucks but I wouldn't expect much sound from a projector so I was already prepared to use an external audio source.

As for wifi connectivity I haven't tried any of that so can't say anything about it but I have it hooked up to my ps4 to play games and stream Netflix and disney+ and prime and it all works just fine.

I don't know why they advertise it as 1080p as it is only 720p. thats kind of annoying false advertising. So text is pretty grainy which is a bit of a bummer as I mainly bought this to hook up to my ps4 for games and there is usually alot of text in games. movies do look great on this thing in a dark room of course.

Right out of the box colors are pretty washed out and dull so you'll have fiddle around with the settings but I think I got it as good as it's gunna get now.

The 3Stone A5 4500 Lux Portable Movie Projector is a wonderful projector that has all the bells and whistles without breaking the bank. We needed a budget friendly projector to take along on family vacations, use at impromptu Covid friendly driveway parties, and occasionally for home business meetings. We found all of this with 3Stone.

There are numerous ways to connect to this projector, including traditional HDMI, USB, and screen mirroring from a phone or computer. With only a little effort, I was able to connect to my cell phone and stream straight from several popular streaming services and then was able to connect to our home WiFi without issue. I recommend going ahead and connecting to your WiFi to download the latest firmware straight out of the box. HDMI hookup to the DVD player and also the Roku were straight forward.

As a test of the abilities of this powerful little projector, we streamed the Super Bowl via our Roku that was directly connected. We projected across a room and had a wall-ful of football and halftime fun. While the screen was a little washed out when we had the room lights on bright, the picture was plenty bright and very pleasing with the room light dimmed. It took a bit of tweaking to get the color settled, as the default setting was having trouble with some red over-saturation. The test confirmed that the projector will do just fine for the occasional slumber party or driveway movie.

We also tested projecting a PowerPoint presentation, which is where the projector did outstanding. While it does just fine with movies and live TV, still slides and pictures are very crisp and easily readable. As noted, we will be using this for occasional home office meetings and business trips.

One considering this projector should remember that it is a budget projector. You will not likely want to use this projector in a completely sun-filled room. The keystone is also mechanical versus digital and has a limited range. So, the projector performs best when not projecting from a table up to a screen at a sharp angle. Having the projector with a more straight on angle is ideal. Understanding that it is a budget projector that is feature packed, the only real complaint is that the lens cap is a bit loose and does easily fall off... but this does not warrant docking any stars.

Overall a good little projector for the price, (sub $100), but, not for wireless streaming, at least not for me.

Packaging was really good. Felt very secure & safe. Comes with just about everything you need... except batteries for the remote. Good, small, portable size with pretty decent quality. Clarity is good up to the 100" inch spec.
The keystone adjustment really isn't good. As long as you use this straight on, your good. The keystone is shallow and if you use it, the focus is shot at the top or bottom. So it'll be square but the top will be in focus and the bottom will be blurry, (you can't have both). Skewed & in focus or straight & blurry on the top or bottom, if you have the projector sitting at an angle.

Brightness is ok in a partially lit room, but better in the dark. (Pics are in a partially lit room.)

Sound is good for a small room, but only mono, (single speaker), no stereo, (left/right). Which is pretty typical for most projectors, but it does have an audio out, (3.5mm phono), jack for external speakers or headphones.

It has several wireless connections, ("screen mirroring"), although I couldn't really get any of them to not, stop and freeze, (buffer), constantly. Good for a direct connection via hdmi.

Didn't get to check out the built-in media player, (it has a usb drive option).

Fan isn't too loud and it comes with a replacement filter, (small piece of sponge.) Doesn't seem to get too hot either.

The picture is pretty clear. That's one thing I was worried about. Although, it's limited in how much you can adjust the view to clear up the picture, just move the devise further back or closer to help it. Not bad for what I paid.

A few years ago, my job involved considerable travel and doing presentations for small groups. Lugging around a heavy projector, laptop, and briefcase in addition to my suitcase / garment bag was very tiring, to say the least. It would have been a dream (and back saving) to have a small, lightweight projector that connects to my phone via Wi-Fi...its available now - the 3Stone A5 Projector.

It's small, lightweight, quiet, granular focus / alignment and easy to setup. When I received the projector, I unboxed it, did a quick read of the user guide, positioned it, plugged it in, turned it on, used the online menu to connect to Wi-Fi and my Note 20 Android phone, mirrored my phone screen - less than 15 minutes start to finish. How easy was that? And then movie fever hit - the colors were vivid, brightness and clarity good, quality sound - a good cinema experience.

I then started exploring other features like connecting my iPad, connecting my laptop, plugged in my Fire TV stick.

This is a very good product at a very good price point. The features work as described. It's rare that a device with this functionality is as easy to setup and use than the A5 is.

If you looking for a compact, feature rich, easy to setup and use projector that is good value for your dollar...the 3Stone A5 is it.
