I followed the direction to activate the sun a day before I flew out, it worked great while I was at home but once I got to my destination(las Vegas) it was useless to me 2 gb for 14 days lasted for only half a day with minimal usage. I do not recommend this product at all

We bought this sim for a trip from Calgary to Los Angeles and installed it in Canada prior to going down to the US. It worked great in Canada, on the plane, and when we landed in LA. Transitions were seamless. We didn’t have to do anything but put the Sim in and remove it when we were done. I would definitely recommend it.

As a contrast, I used an eSIM for my phone just to compare and it wasn’t nearly as easy to use or as good value as this sim was. Next time I am going to buy this one for both phones.

Works good most of the time BUT BUYER BEWARE of the following issues.
So I had some issues accessing some USA sitea that block the access probably because the redirect is made through hong kong - they do not like chinese IP trafic connecting to their site. Download speed was around 5 Mbps and 333 msec ping the few times I tested it, enough for what I wanted to do. But sometimes I'm sure it was WAYYYYYYY slower that this as getting the data back from sites was taking a long time. You know when you think the site is not responding anymore and you keep refreshing it hoping it will be faster.... Nope sometimes, not often but always when you needed it fast, the data was being delivered by carrier pigeon...or at least it seemed to be!
Also and I almost just put a 2 star because of this...with Electrify America, when I was trying to log into their website to recharge my Kona EV in the USA it was always giving me an Authentification error. If I was using the wifi, when it was available near the charger, I was able to log without a problem. The first time it happened I tried numerous tiime to change my Electrify America PWD without success since at first I didn't understood the issue was the hong kong site... I was almost to the point of calling EA support, to give them a piece of my mind, you know letting them clearly know their site wasn't working, BOY WoULD I HAVE BEEN WRONG!!!!. Doing a bit more testing led me tp believe the issue was the fact the connection was made through the Chinese site...,
So works most of the time, but for me it was pretty bad since I wanted to use this to have data on a road trip to use Waze (always working) and to recharge my EV (sadly not usable with Electrify America). Note that it was working with chargepoint. So until they route the trafic in Canada or the US I would be thinking twice about it before buying it. I'll go on and use all the data and buy another solution working seemlessly in North American.

We bought these because we needed service while on holidays in a remote location. We did manage to activate the first of two but it was a pain and the second one never did work. Go to your local cell phone kiosk for better.
