Travelled in Italy, Croatia, Germany and Hungary. We had no issues.Coverage was fine in all above countries. Set up was easy - put the new sim card in when we landed and it worked instantly. No activation needed!!!My 6 GB was enough for 3 weeks.( I did not use it for streaming)

This data-only SIM worked perfectly.

I was a little worried about it being data only, but it turned out that cell/mobile access was unnecessary as we used WhatsApp for any telephone communication back home, and you only need data for that.

The setup couldn't be easier. The instructions say that after you install it, as soon as you're within range it will automatically connect, and that's exactly what it did. I exchanged my current SIM to this one during our flight, and as soon as the plane landed I had service.

I highly recommend this SIM.

(Note - my wife went a different route and chose an eSIM from a different provider and had days of headaches getting it correctly configured.)

I was not sure if this sim card would work because usually you need to do some setting adjustments on the phone when inserting a new one. But nope. As soon as I landed in Europe, I popped in the sim card on the plane and immediately worked like a charm. I was ready to go. This sim card worked in Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, and Poland. I'm sure it works elsewhere in Europe as well. The only thing that I didn't like was not having enough data for the price advertised. 30G or more would have been a lot better but it all depends on how much data you use.

We've had mixed results with similar Sim cards for North America, and so it was for this item too. We were going on a cruise from Athens to Rome and thought that this would be perfect for this trip. However, once in Athens we discovered that it wouldn't work - the provider is Orange and it seems like they do not cover Greece, or Athens at least. Since we were staying in Athens for almost a week days before our cruise, we had to scramble and buy a Vodafone card in a store.
We worried that the Sim card wouldn't work once we got to Italy, but thankfully it did. We had no problems with it for the next 11 days. So please double check that the provider is active in the country/countries that you are going to (although, to be honest I'm not sure if the provider was named on the Sim). It's strange though - this card was recommended to us by a friend who cruised in the Eastern Med., including Santorini, and it worked for her.

Recently, I purchased this SIM2ROAM Europe Data SIM Card Prepaid 10GB - 30days. I was going on a two weeks Euro trip and purchased this to use in London, Italy, Greece and Aegean islands cruise. I changed out my sim card for this sim before landing in London. Turned it on once we landed and voilà! it worked. As other reviewer had mentioned, you need to put your phone on 'ROAMING'. If it does not work the first time, put it in roaming restart the phone and give about 5 minute for it connect.

During the cruise, it worked perfectly when we were near the islands. Only in the night, when the cruise was sailing between island the signal was patchy. Who cares, I want my good night sleep! I am not checking my phone anyway.

I was surprised that it worked on the cruise (near the cruise) when we were docked in Cesme port turkey as well. Of course, it did not work when we went deeper into the country for our one-day excursion. I just stayed closer to our group.

Used three of these 3 GB / 30 day SIMs with no issues. Clock starts whenever you insert them in a phone (and power the phone on). I didn't have to make any changes in Settings (aside from enabling the SIM for data roaming, etc.) for these to work in my Pixel 6 or Pixel 7 phones (running an eSIM for my US number), though there are some trouble-shooting instructions. An occasional restart of the phone helped it find signal faster (especially when crossing borders). Used for two weeks in England, Germany and the Czech Republic. Received a text message advising that if I wanted to use it past 30 days (i.e., but more time/data) I'd have to register it, but for under 30 days no action was required. Note that it is only data; in Europe you'll certainly want a WhatsApp account (many businesses have a WhatsApp number). That (or Signal) are also great solutions if you're trying to reach someone anywhere else in the world as you can text/talk over data.

this sim is completely useless for italy, terrible reception and burned through all the data in a few days by just trying to connect. ended up having to get a local providers sim which worked perfectly. customer service was useless and could only tell me how to insert the sim and please try to restart the device...not what i paid for.
