Make sure you put enough air in it but don’t go over
So.. I’ve used this so far twice. First time I used it I thought the pump was broken, it wasn’t reading how much air was going in turns out it was not broken. a friend told me when it’s close to being full you need to put your whole body weight into it to be able to push the pump down. So what you would think was fully blown is not even close I only put about 12.5 psi in it because it was so hard to push down and I was scared I would over blow it and bust it and I’m 5”10, 200 pounds so I’m not little. I can stand on it very easily the wider the more stable it is if I were to buy another I’d go with the 34” wide one just for the stability but this is amazing so much fun and so much cheaper to buy off here then to get one at Canadian tire they sell them for $600 plus on there. I highly recommend trying one of these you will not be disappointed.

I am a beginner and I purchased this SUP at an extremely low price. First off, I do not think this is a beginner’s board. I’ve used a beginners board and it was much wider and much more stable. That being said, you eventually get the hang of it. This SUP is just as good as the extremely expensive ones sold everywhere else. I am super happy and impressed with this paddle board. Everything that came with the SUP, fits in the most convenient bag. I like that everything is in one place. Unboxing was easy as I just put everything in the carry bag. Blowing it up takes about 10ish minutes and the max you can blow up is 15 psi. I could only get it to about 8-9 psi and that was good enough on the water. I read later that you release the red screw on the pump to make it easier to blow it up past 9 psi to get to 15. The gauge on the pump starts working once you get it blown up to full (but not fully full). Attach the black hose to the SUP first and then screw it onto the pump! Don’t panic if your gauge isn’t working…just keep blowing up. If you’ve ever paddle boarded before, you’ll already know how to attach the fin. If you don’t, watch some YouTube videos. The instruction manual is not very good but I also had prior experience so putting together the SUP wasn’t hard. I read a previous review that said the paddle sunk but the paddle DOES float so don’t worry if you fall in because your paddle won’t sink. I am so impressed with this SUP. It’s one of my most favourite purchases ever. Once you’re done, getting the air out is not so hard. Unscrew the cap, attach the black hose, let some of the air out (it is extremely loud) and then detach the house and let the SUP deflate. I started rolling the SUP up and let the air out while I rolled. If you’re a true beginner, you will have a hard time standing and balancing but I promise it will get easier. This is only a 31” board. Once you get past the rockiness-you will have so much fun paddling. There is also a shoulder strap in the bag that attaches to the side of the SUP so you can side carry- super convenient. Get it. You won’t regret it!!

Because this item was priced so low, and I had never used a SUP before, I read many reviews before purchasing. I am TERRIBLE at reading instructions, and the fact that I put this all up by myself tells me enough right there, hahahaha.
I read reviews saying it can be tricky to pump up, it is not really. And it says right in the pump that when it gets too hard to pump, open the other valve on the pump. Easy peasey! OK, it does get tiring after 10mins, but I did it by myself so it’s totally doable clearly.
I read that you might need to look up how to get the fun on because it can be tricky? At least board I got slid in and out 🤷🏼♀️
And finally I read that it comes with a nice carry case but you have to put it in exactly the same every time to fit it. Not true at all. I deflated the board the as quick as I pumped it up, rolled it only the best I could on my own, and there was ample room to spare for ALL the extras. I am BEYOND thrilled at this purchase. I CANNOT wait to get it on the water. I fully expect it to be a little tippy in the beginning seeing as how I e never been on one but I’m excited.
The ONLY knock I have on it is the paddle CLEARLY sucks. It feels super cheap and the screws are loose. And I’m not sure how to tighten them, or if they are supposed to be like that? 🤷🏼♀️ But for the price, I don’t even care. I’ll buy a new paddle if I have to, hahaha
