Received this today. Opened the box and plugged my Google Pixel 7 Pro phone in, and my phone says the charging accessory was charging slow then a few seconds later it stopped charging altogether. Lots of power for a small, lightweight unit

I like this power bank so much after my initial purchase of one unit that I've bought two more. At 15K mAh, this power bank can fully charge my iPhone Pro Max at least three times, yet it's pretty lightweight. Its LED power % readout is super useful, as are the built in charging cords (Lightning and USB-C)

My only concern is that if/when the built-in charging cords wear out, the unit can't be used anymore, because those cords are not swappable. And charging cords do have a finite lifespan due to bending. These cords don't look to have been designed to withstand a lot of bending. The shields closest to the Lightning and USB-C connectors aren't robust.

This concern is why I'm rating the product at 4 stars rather than 5. But, as I noted earlier, I still bought 3 of these power banks for other reasons -- low weight with high power capacity, % power LED readout.

If you are not worried about actually carrying this with you for distances on foot, then this could be right charger for you. I bought it for a 3 day event and several people were able to bring their various devices to at least 30% charge in 15-20 minutes. And it still had 50% charge when I got home! Amazing power, and amazing power storage. Not sure about it long term, but I've used it randomly just to keep the battery fresh and it seems to be able to fully charge at least 5 or 6 devices from zero on a single charge. When I check it between charges, It never goes below 98% so it holds a charge for a long time between uses too.

So, upon using it the battery life was at 77%. I had my phone charging for an hour to see how fast it charges. My phone battery went from 52% to 74% (22% increase). I'd say that's pretty fast. To me, it seems to take long to charge the power bank; the battery decreased by approximately 9% in that hour of charging my phone. I don't know why that is the case, but this is my first time using a power bank so maybe it's the norm.
Moving on, it comes with a usb type c cable. Because it's so short it's best to use it when you are charging your phone, not charging the power bank directly to an adapter. Although, if you prefer to charge the power bank using your laptop you could do that and keep your desk area near.
I love the flashlight on it. It is extremely bright (white light). The power bank has some weight to it, about as heavy as holding an unopened water bottle in one hand. I am afraid to drop it just because it seems a little hefty and has no protection the way a phone would. Durability is still unknown.
I don't know the battery life on it just yet so I will update the longer I use it. But so far so good. It arrived in good condition and it's functional. The instruction manual has an email address you can email in case you have an issue but I'm not sure how legitimate it is.
- Update 3/2/2023: Your phone does get hot while it's charging as the instruction manual did mention. The power bank may charge your phone fast, but charging the power bank takes a while. From what it appears the fast charging power saps a lot of battery from the power bank. Again, I don't know if that's the normal trade-off with such things, but for me it's a little annoying to say the least. So, that's to be considered if you're thinking about purchasing it. If you have a fast charging adapter or cable then maybe it'll be a different story. Overall, I still give it 5 stars because it is working and I enjoy its other benefits.

Well designed charger, but not 40,000mAh

This is a nice product for the price, but the 40,000mAh rating is fake advertising buzz. The correct units for measuring electric storage are watt-hours (Wh), not amp-hours (Ah). Converting Ah to Wh requires multiplying by the voltage of the internal batteries, and there's no indication of what that voltage is. A lot of batteries used in these devices are 3.7 volts, and 40Ah x 3.7V = 148Wh, which would be too big to take on a plane.

However, I've tested this power bank by charging my Chromebook, and it was only able to put out about 60Wh before it was drained. The FAA limit is 100Wh. So this power bank is small enough to take on a plane, even though the labeling on the device indicates that it's too big. It's annoying that they put incorrect markings on the device, because otherwise it's really nice for the price.

Also, it charges my Chromebook at 20W, even though the Chromebook can charge as fast as 60W. I haven't seen it charge anything faster than 20W, but that's still pretty fast for the price.
