This rechargeable device is made of 3 pretty bright LED's on the top part which can alternate color or not and two small lasers which are behind a transparent wheel which can be stopped but can't be speed adjusted. This "wheel" contains all the patterns which change as it spins in front of both lasers. It doen't produce super clean effects but it's nonetheless quite cool for the price paid... The whole device can be sound activated. It took me a few hours to fully charge the unit using a 5V 3A USB adaptor and the 6 foot special cord supplied. Once charged, the back led turns green... and the charge lasts for quite a few hours! You can also use this light while plugged.

For such a small device, it works perfect. I set it up in ~900ft^2 open area of my daughter’s dance party. The light was a huge hit with the guests and being able to operate on battery was a huge bonus.
