my baby is still 1.5 months away and the pail its self is as shown. Nice size I got the grey it matches my cool grey decor. I also shared an image of a refill money saving hack i saw on pintrest. use a draw string trash bag tie it around the ring and feed it through.

Ça nous simplifie vraiment la vie. La poubelle est de bonne qualité. Je ne comprends pas ceux qui laissent des commentaires en disant que le mécanisme d’ouverture de la pédale se brise facilement. Peut-être ne sont-ils pas très doux en pesant sur le pédale avec le pied ou que leur produit était défectueux? C'était pour cette seule raison que j’hésitais à en acheter une et pourtant je ne regrette pas.

the plastic reminds me of cheap shopping bags, the kind you leave in the back seat a few days and the sun causes them to flake as the plastic deteriorates. that said, i just got this thing and so far it works pretty good. the pedal to open the top is magical!!

i didnt like the bad cutter thingy, when changing i pinch then spin the bag, zip tie it and cut it with scissors. then i do the knot and pull the plastic into place. i had some issue estimating how short to cut the plastic and still be able to tie the knot at the top, i estimated wrong and suffered smelling for a few minutes until i got it sorted. now with the pinch spin zip tie and scissor routine its pretty much dummy (me) proof!

i find opening the lid the charcoal really doesnt do much. i have never had charcoal help much in any kind of filter, air purifier or other so since it doesnt seem to help wiht the smell at all, i will save my money.
im so glad we got this thing though, i bought a second one for kitty litter. :)
