Strong, hard to cut & fits a size10 needle
I bought this fishing line for specific bead embroidery purposes and to see how strong it is. I needed something that wouldn't be easily cut from the edges of sharp glass or metal beads. This line is very difficult to cut with regular scissors where you'll need super sharp ones to prevent the tip from being frayed. A thread burner may be needed. 6lb line fits a size 10 beading needle but won't fit through size 11. It's also worthy to note that this "Netherlands" line is made in China.

This is my second purchase of Lunker braid. I used green 20 lb for general use in a big lake for pike, small mouth and walleye. The braid has stood up well with no fraying, birds nests or unexpected breaks. It also holds a knot well including joining a leader. I like the fact that the longer spools are cheaper per metre. Very pleased when i recieved product . Been using for a month now. Cast very smooth and far....looks great, feels great when you get a fish on. On the downside this line is not very durable. verytime i try and tie a new piece of tackle on I end up tying it 5 or 6 ties before i get a knot that does not break off. I am using Palomar knot and sometimes standard fishermans knot. If I wet the line with saliva before tightening the knot it has a hance of holding but still breaks off when i test the knot . Not sure if i recieved a faulty spool or what is going on with it but not pleased with the durability of this line. It seems every 5 feet i may have a chance of getting a firm knot and then if it scuffs a rock or a tree branch on retirevl it breaks of right after i test it.

Avoid the yellow colored 6 lb line. I don't know what it is with the yellow color but you get so many wind knots when casting (literally every other cast you will get wind knots with the yellow 6 lb). I switched to the green colored 6 lb line and now I don't get any wind knots. I haven't tested the black 6 lb.

I love using the 6 lb for casting small jigs and spoons because it has a small line diameter which allows me to cast super far and cover so much more water, especially because I only fish from the bank and target freshwater species.

I've also used the yellow 15 lb and it works like it should. Great bang-for-the-buck brand of line.
