Difficult to stretch

However it gets pretty difficult to stretch onto a 62mm circumference lens.
No chance I’ll get it onto a lens more than 62mm.
Will keep it for my 55mm diameter or less lenses.

I just received these lens caps hoping to find a solution for my 'pressure' lens caps which tend to pop off sometimes and also wanting more protection for my lens from sand/dirt.

These lens caps are supposed to fit lenses 65-88mm. I just tried fitting the lens cap over my 28-105mm lens which is a 62mm circumference and it barely fits and ONLY without the lens hood on the lens. With the lens hood (reversed - not extending) as one would normally have the lens hood when not using the lens - this lens cap does not fit at all!! And this is on a smaller lens than the 'universal fit' lens cap states it works on.

In order to utilize this lens cap at all I would need to remove the lens hood and carry it separately from the lens. Quite frankly, when I am out in the field this is not something I would ever do.

So.... these lens hoods will be returned.
