I like the idea to include additional bags to prevent sand leaking, but more care to quality of stitching for handle is needed. First time filling, I used 18lbs of lead, divided equally in one bag but the handle ripped off at the seam. Although the bags are still usable and I have made my own handle now, this type of small thing is what drives people away from Neewer and their products that are actually great quality. The hooks are too cheap to be trusted also.

I just received these bags a few days ago. Each bag comes with 2 plastic bags, one for each side. You can fill it with sand or small rocks easily. Total weight is approximately 20 pounds per black canvas bag, total approximately 80 pounds for all 4 canvas bags filled. They appear to be well made, easy to carry bags from one location to another because each is 20 pounds. We live in a condo, where the wind is quite strong at times, the umbrella does not move. I hope the zippers and handles will hold up after time, will review again later in the season!

We bought these sandbags to stop our camera tripod from blowing over in strong winds. They work well for the intended purpose and we are very happy with them.

The review is 4 stars instead of 5 because 4 of the 8 plastic bags were missing upon arrival. When I reached out to the company about the missing bags, they insisted on a photo of what we received before they would talk about replacing the missing bags. By the time they had responded to my inquiry, I had already worked out a solution using large Ziploc bags, so it was not worth the time or effort to seek out the photo. This alternate solution seems to have worked fairly well.

These are fine for my needs but... First time I used them one tore very easily on a stand knuckle. Just by lifting it off the stand leg. No force needed to tear it. My professional sandbags can withstand almost anything. These sandbags, not so much. Good for in studio, light duty work only IMHO.
