I would adjust it with two hands and take your time. I have it in a place where I really dont need to adjust it again. I believe it will last longer than some of the other reviews. the base is a nice durable plastic that will not scratch or stant the desk or table its placed on

I needed a cell phone stand so that I could take videos of me creating art projects on a desk. This attaches to the top shelf on my desk or to the desk table. The phone fits in the expandable holder and then you have freedom to move it around to your liking. I can see through phone and don't have to invert the video in order to see what I'm filming, if that makes any sense. The tube thingy is kind of stiff but I can move it to whatever angle I need.
