These are by far the best smart bulbs. They are definitely pricy but they are super easy to hook up. The app detects then and then let's you name, assign or change where they are or what they are called. I just moved and had to go thru reassigning them all and it was super easy. Previously my Google interacted well with them and now have alexa and honestly that is even better.

You will eventually struggle a lot to make these bulbs work on the Google Home app without a Philips Hue Bridge.
However, after you purchase one, it will be a whole different story.
Having this in mind, I still think that they are worth the high price that you will pay for them. But think about adding a Philips Hue Bridge to make your life easier

Like all other HUE bulbs, it has the option to get back to previous seting when you switch it on
