Smart button battery was dead on arrival. Box looks like it had been opened before but nothing appeared used. Lights and hub work well but the button doesn’t seem to stay connected.

The brightness and range of color temperatures are a great addition to any room, enabling a quick change of mood and ambiance. However, Alexa does not integrate well and every time Alexa turns on the lights they turn on to the bare minimum brightness, so you have to do a second voice command to set the brightness to one of your scenes. I wish Alexa could just turn on the lights to the last saved setting instead of 10% brightness. All of the Philips remotes and buttons can set it to the last saved setting.

Full of bugs and headaches

I understand that most people when they buy a product they have zero issues with it. But there’s always that 1% that will not have the same experience for whatever reason.
I am part of that 1%. For whatever reason my hub stopped working properly within 2-3 months. I couldn’t get access to my hub through the app. And the options the app gave me to fix the issue wouldn’t work. Only option was to reset the hub and app and start all over again. Except even after all that the app wouldn’t identify my hub. I gave up but I did manage to finish the setup maybe 2-4 times within a 4 month span but within a day the hub would just stop working properly.
I eventually reached out to Phillips. They sent me a new hub. And the app still wouldn’t identify the hub. Eventually it did after 3 try’s. But even then I had an issue with the hub not recognizing my bulbs. I had to input their serial number one by one in order for the hub to connect with the bulbs. If that wasn’t bad enough I couldn’t get my hub to connect to the clicker button accessory. The app just wouldn’t connect to it. Frustrated I just closed the app. But when I reopened the app it showed the accessory had connected after all.
Took me 40-50 minutes to get everything working correctly. Finally after 8 months of given up on this hub/bulbs I was able to enjoy what I had spent my hard earned money on. Except it was short lived. About 2 hours after I had finished setting it up the power went out in my house and the hub never returned to its prior state. Now the app can’t communicate with hub and the only option available to get the hub working properly is to rest it to factory settings and do the whole damn set up again.
This by far has to be the worst product experience I have ever had. It’s been so frustrating because it was expensive and there were so many cheaper options. I wish I could get my money back. Try at your own risk.

Piece of junk

Total absolute trash. The whole purpose I waited to invest in smart lights was to make sure they ironed out all the kinks so I could have a seamless setup. I waited, did my research, spent extra on philips hue... and I have now spent days pulling my hair out because I can't get this system to work with Siri/Apple Homekit. I reset everything multiple times, contacted Support, read forums - I'm even an IT guy! Every time I got to connect the hue system to Apple Homekit I get the same issue "Unable to add accessory. Setup code is incorrect". I've tried typing it in, scanning the barcode, checking my router/firewall settings, switched wifi settings, everything! DOESN'T WORK WITH SIRI OR APPLE HOMEKIT. DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU PLAN TO USE THIS IN THAT MANNER. If you want a nice set of light bulbs that require you to pull out your phone, open an app, wait for it to connect, and then tap to turn on/off, then this is the product for you! Waste of my time...
