Picked up these to help my little senior get on the bed. We have a 13 year old Jack who is finding it harder to leap up and down so far. She is comfortable on these, they are great height, love that they can be adjusted into a ramp and already put together. Even I walked up the steps and they were just fine. Maybe if your dog is bouncy something tacky to hold the steps at your setting would be helpful (ours is only 10 lbs). Also love that they fold flat so can slide under our bed for storage if we wanted.

We bought this for our dog to get into our truck so that he wouldn't bang his back legs on the running boards. He's very skittish and we were uncertain he would use them. The first time we put them out he had no fear of climbing them. He's a 65 lb dog and the stairs didn't move at all.

They are well made and sturdy. We like the fact they can be adjusted to a lower height and fold down to a manageable size taking relatively little space in the truck. We're happy we found these steps.

This is a terrible product. Flat out garbage. The steps are so wobbly. The holes in the sides are way oversized for the dowel pins on the steps so they rock back and forth with the slightest pressure. It’s so short that using it as a ramp makes it super steep. I would have returned this product right away but I threw out the original box and can’t find the right sized box for a return. Now I’m stuck with a ramp. Can’t use it as steps because it’s not safe at all. Have to keep it on the lowest setting for ramp so it only goes as high as my box spring and my poor dog still has to jump. Complete garbage.

I got this ramp on sale, and it was a really good deal compared to all of the more pillowy steps out there. I do agree with other reviewers that the steps just kind of rest in their spot so if your dog moves up or down them quickly they will jostle a little. I have a small yorkie and the steps don’t seem to bother him. I also like that it can be made into a ramp though I haven’t needed to use that yet.
While my yorkie seems totally fine with the steps, my older dog isn’t a huge fan of them. She’s a little heavier (10-12 lbs) and I think the fact that the steps move a little makes her feel unsteady. Even with only one dog liking the steps, I really like having them. They’re easy to move around the house and seem well built.

The stairs do not lock in place when they're folded in so they flip open and closed while you move it. This ramp/stairs combo is pretty heavy too, and I'm not the weakest of people. Our dog weighs between 90-100lbs and just had knee surgery so we got this to help him get around. We're going to have to use this only at a bed or the couch because of the weight and difficulty to move it without getting your fingers pinched in the stairs/legs on the back.

I had bought a new volvo xc60 to accommodate my mastiff ( 180#). I did not realize the strain ( knee and hip)it was for him getting in and out of the vehicle thru the back door. He is restrained during transport and not kept in the back of vehicle for safety of all- the velocity of his body with sudden stop or during an accident would hurt him and others in the vehicle. This is the only set of steps that held him- did not creak, tilt, bend. This item fit in the door area for easy entry and exit. The only negative is the little anti-slip feet- they slipped off after couple times of use. This may not happen in item not used outside and moved multiple times when used. I would imagine if used in a home stationary are would be not an issue.
I bought anti-slip type tape and all is good.
Overall would by again, and would recommend for the big guys.
