Best pen out there, but not this time...
I absolutely love these pens. Best thinkness, great to doodle, take notes and make sketches. Been using them for years.However, this time Paper Mate really let met down. In the box of 12, at least half of the pens were leaking, creating blodged and smears, on the page and on my hands. Such a shame, I hope they get this manufacturing mistake under control, because in general still my favorite pen!

I purchased these pens with high hopes and they did not disappoint. They write beautifully in my journal and do not bleed onto the back pages. The colours are vivid and diverse. Great for bullet or pregnancy journals.

I did notice a few pens were dried out or in the process of drying out. I contacted the seller and they replied right away. Their customer service was very courteous and understanding. They mailed me a replacement pack free of charge for my inconvenience.

I used to be a pilot guy, but these are really great value for the price! I find the tip a little big for my handwriting style but it's not unusable, i have a very tiny journal so it's just a preference.

There is a little purplish in the ink that i didn't have in my staedler fine point, but again, it's barely noticable, and these are really solid for the money.

Architects / sketchers / designers would probably love these as well, they have an awesome grip and despite the felt tip the ink flows really evenly (unlike some cheap markers).

I usually love these markers. I use them all the time. However, this was the first time ordering them from amazon.

Each pen I would take out of the box would leak after using it once. Made a mess every time.

I'll be buying them in the store next time I guess.

Great product and good pricing. I originally was looking at the pilot version but saw the papermate version which I bought on sale. I was not disappointed even though it is not what I originally want to buy. The pen has a good flow, good point, good black colouring, and the matte body has good grip.

These are my favorite pens. I like writing with a felt tip pen; the result is clear and smooth and easy to read. Papermate always makes a good quality pen. I buy them by the box because I use them everywhere. They are also made in black and an assortment of colors.

I’ll start with the problem I have which is so small that it pales in comparison to the benefits. Don’t leave this pen uncapped. It’s like a Sharpie this way. Uncapped, it dries out and you have to start with a new pen. But that’s it. This pen is the pen I use. That’s it. There’s no ball that can dent and then intermittently fail to write mid word. There is no overuse of ink so it lasts a long time. It just keeps writing. I talk up this pen to everyone I work with. I annoy them with it. Then they use it and eat humble pie because the pen never fails. The only way it fails is when the ink is gone. Just make sure you cap the pen after use.

I print very small so I like an extra extra fine point tip on any of my pens to prevent it looking like a big blob if anything bleeds together. These seem to be my go-to and a recurring purchase for me as they are the perfect tip size for my writing. I can write in a small space and it is still legible and does not bleed together or bleed through the paper. I only wish that I could find more colors offered in the extra fine rather than the medium point felt tip pens! They are a little on the pricey side however the older ones are still not dried out entirely it is mostly that I have lost them over the last year so purchased another package they lost a very long time for any felt tip water-based ink pen. The quality and the color is great so I am willing to pay a little more than some others that are offered for less money. I have tried others and learned that when it comes to pens you definitely get what you pay for if you pay a little more you're going to get a long-lasting worthwhile writing device that will last you a long time others I have tried in the fineliner and extra fine tip pen style have dried up easily or the tip has actually snapped in the first couple uses and we're just a waste of money to begin with.
