This Paper Mario is one of the best games in the Paper Mario series. I loved this game on the Nintendo Gamecube, so I was excited when they announced this game last year at Nintendo Direct.The update graphics are remarkable. Everything looks more colourful and beautiful now that it’s remade in HD format. The gameplay remains true to the original version. The story, music, and character design are awesome as usual for a 1st party Nintendo game.Overall, I am very happy with this game. I don’t like replaying older generation games due to the older systems not being compatible with the newer HD TVs without a workaround, so this remake was definitely added and prioritized to my long list of games to play. If you have a Nintendo Switch, I would for sure recommend this game!

This is my first time playing a Paper Mario game, and I was skeptical if it would live up to the hype. I can safely say that this is in absolutely incredible game. It's hard to believe it's built off of a foundation that was laid 20 years ago, but it's true. Highly recommend.

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is a solid game with witty characters and a compelling story. The badges, level-up system, and fighting mechanics are as satisfying as they were in 2004. For the old timers who played the original in 2004, this is well worth your money. For the new comers, this is ALSO worth your money, and I envy you if you are playing this masterpiece for the first time.
