Batteries dead after 8 months
Bought 2 batteries in Oct 2021 for wireless smoke detector. They arrived in a plastic baggy, not packaging. See picture. Used one battery in Oct and it died in August 2022. Went to install second battery, which hadn’t been used, also dead. Pulled out multimeter, and in fact both batteries were dead. I wasn’t expecting them to last 5 yrs, but at least 1 year, and the second battery should not be dead to begin with. Should have bought 1 battery at Home Depot for same price of two, will surely last longer and comes out to the same thing as I really only was able to use one battery.
