This watch comes with a so-so quality plastic wristband installed, and a matching metal wristband that you can install yourself. You get a plastic tool to resize the metal band by removing links if necessary. I have a large wrist (7.5 inches) and had to remove two links. Installation is not for the faint of heart, the band attaches with old fashioned spring loaded pins and even though they have a design that does not require a tool it is still challenging.
The watch comes with 6 faces installed. That's all it holds. If you want a different face you can use the app in your phone to browse a gallery of additional faces and download them. You can then upload a new face to the watch and it will overwrite one of the factory installed faces. I could not figure out how to pick which gets replaced.
The apps that come installed are very basic, and the watch does not support multitasking: if you start a workout then trying to do anything else will lead to a screen asking if you want to end the workout, no way to switch while it keeps running in the background. You can't install additional apps. I am not sure where their weather app is getting its info from, it is definitely not using my iphone's weather app. There's no way to customize the weather, I chose "guest" when I installed their main app on my phone to preserve my privacy so not sure if creating an account would affect that.
The watch has decent speakers on the bottom of the left side of the case. Calls were clear, and the simple "Music" widget lets you control playback of whatever music app is running on your phone. That is all it does.
You can shower or wash your hands with the watch, but you should turn on power-save mode if you do: this will disable bluetooth and prevent the watch from "shower dialling". Touchscreens go crazy when water drops hit them, it registers as a touch.
Instructions regarding the usage of the watch and installed functions are very limited, you'll have to figure much of it on your own. Battery life is good, mainly because the only sensor that is active constantly is the motion sensor: it counts steps and knows if you raised your arm (enables screen on) and/or if you are motionless (sleep tracking). The O2 sensor and heartbeat sensor are not constantly on, but they are fairly accurate. The Blood Pressure widget is useless, it does not give accurate results, it shouldn't have been included. Data collected from the built-in apps only spans one week on the watch. Heartbeat data only spans 24h, and only for when the workout or heartbeat apps where in use.
Making calls or listening to music are the only activities that will cause noticeable battery usage: 1 hour of either drains about 10% of the battery. Everything else barely registers and overnight I noticed no battery drain at all. Charging is via a USB cable that magnetically attaches to contacts at the back of the watch.
Overall, a simple watch for people who want to count steps and occasionally measure heartbeat and SpO2, also functions well as a remote for calls. You can enable a "shake to take picture" function that will trip the camera on your phone after a 3s countdown, so there's also that.
