* Brightness level is excellent spreading light about 4.5ft across and 4ft of depth in front relative to its low 10W of power input. Using a simple plug and play USB connector its easy to setup into devices like laptops.
* Switching in 3 different color modes adds flexibility to creative photography by toggling color temperature between warm, medium, or bright white. Color intensity is decent but does wash out some mid tones and de-saturates hues perceptually except in its medium warm 4500K temperature mode.
* Dual tripods means its now even easier to attach the LED ring light on the desk closer for live meetings and streaming. On its full size tripod allows mounting camcorder on 1/4" socket but gooseneck phone mount only attaches to the ring light itself. This is why it comes with yet another fixed angle phone mount accessory for using with the tabletop tripod.
* Tripod stand is oversized to handle this lightweight ring light and its big reaching nearly 190cm in height when legs are narrowed or 110cm minimized. Yet it still maintains stability from toppling over because feet underneath are rubberized.
// CONS
* While the standing tripod is rigid, the same can't be said for the phone holder which has unnecessary flexibility once attached. It relies on a single internal spring attached to a 4mm plastic clip and not as tightly gripping from the sides of devices inside.
* Similarly the table tripod is a lightweight plastic that spreads out about 30cm in length when expanded and has low height of about 17cm with the phone mount on top but feels less durable than anticipated having maximum weight capacity of about 1kg before it starts flexing.
* Its important to note this light just doesn't come with a wall adapter making powering it on difficult to do without a proper amperage source. USB cable also gets quite hot because its driving almost 10W of power though a thinly flexible wire.
Stable tripod coupled with its brightly lit SMD chipset LEDs shines up brightly making this a great starter kit for setting up live streaming & photography studios on top tables or standing tripod configuration.

The 30cm LED ring light has a lot going for it with bright illumination done using a simple USB connection and color adjustable temperature in 3 presets. Its tripod stand is surprisingly over 6ft in height & sturdy even for being constructed from lightweight aluminum rods. The versatility this lighting setup has to mount standalone, on the desk, or even switch over to a DSLR attached on the tripod using 1/4" screw comes in handy for streaming.Reviewed in Canada on March 5, 2024

My wife has a small hair salon and was looking for a smaller light ring than the one she already has. The reason? Her original is quite big and she must take it down and store it away each time after usage.
Found this smaller setup, which does the job perfectly for her, and the plus side is that she can keep it configured and out by simply sticking it into the corner of the room.
Light is nice and bright, color warmth adjustable through the simple buttons on the cabling. The stand is adjustable in height easily and gets to a perfect height for her to take before and after shots of her clients. Unit comes with a smaller stand, as well as a remote clicker that is bluetooth that can be used when mounting the phone onto the light right and take pictures remotely. But in my wife's case, she mostly uses this setup to provide decent directed lighting which this ring does quite nicely.
Quite happy with this setup. Would recommend without any hesitation.
