I purchased this Memory Foam Coccyx Orthopedic Seat Cushion for sitting on my Walker. I just received the cushion yesterday, and so far, it is very comfortable and just what I was looking for. As I have to use my Walker for sitting on daily, rather than a regular chair, I started having problems with Sciatica in my lower back and right leg. It was becoming very painful in just one week, so I knew I had to find a solution. The cushion is larger that the seat of the Walker (front and back (about 2 inch each on front and back), however, that is not causing a problem so far, as the fabric on the bottom of the cushion doesn't slip. I am finding relief from the Sciatica pain, and I can use it in my Lazyboy recliner as well. The cover is washable. I like the idea that the cushion has a handle on it, and actually can fold in half, if required for travelling.
I looked at a more expensive Memory Foam Coccyx Orthopedic Seat Cushion and decided to purchase this one, as it was approx. $20.00 cheaper and the ratings on the more expensive one were not as good. I will see over the longer term how it holds up, however, so far, I am very happy with it and I certainly would recommend it, rather than sitting on the harder seat of my Walker, even though my Walker seat is padded and my Walker is a higher quality Walker. Yes I would recommend it for a chair, wheelchair, and a Walker. It is a quality cushion for the price.
