I think for the price this Microphone stand is well worth it. It's pretty functional, allowing you to have 2 mics at once. Not all my instruments are electric. For a hobbyist, I think it will do the job.

I purchased this stand to use solely as a calibration stand for my receiver and subwoofer. For those purposes it worked great. The included clips were great additions as one of them was perfect for holding my calibration mics. I do wish the boom arm was longer but I was still able to do what I needed without any issues.

I don't have any experience with mic stands so I can't comment on how this compares to others. I will say that I don't think it's all that sturdy and I'm not sure how well it would hold an actual performance mic if it had any weight to it. There was still some sway in the joints when fully tightened so I don't think I would trust this on a stage that's for sure. But this is a very inexpensive stand so I think we have to keep our expectations in check. It's likely best served as a home stand or for use as a calibration stand. I am happy I purchased it but I don't think it's worth much more than what I paid for it on sale.

the functionality of this unit is good, very light weight and the mic clamps are sufficient. For many mic uses this stand will work fine.
My cons:
1. Too light for a heavy mic when the boom is extended fully ( would need a counter weight for sure )
SM58 is a little tippy fully extended but back up the boom 6 inches or so and it's fine. With My Sennheiser 845 you have to bring it back a foot or so, fully extended it just falls over.
2. doesn't appear strong enough for additional clamp on accessories ( also applies to the weight tipping issue )
I use a clamp on guitar hanger and a clamp on tray to hold my pre amp for ease of use and adjustment. So I use a more heavy duty stand when using my attachments.

Stands are ok for home use. Build quality isnt as good as more expensive stands but for what i need it is very good. Price for the two is hard to beat but be aware if you are on stage frequently then maybe opt to buy something with more weight and sturdiness...These are of light weight material but if it isnt moved around a great deal and the user isnt abusive with stand then they are great value.

I bought this stand for my Granddaughter's 13th Birthday as she loves singing and playing. I expected a middle of the road quality product but this has exceeded expectations. It is light yet robust and appears to cope with balance whatever the weight of the Mic. She has found another use for the clip style Mic holder and has it holding her tablet, which she records to. It arrived a day ahead of estimate, well packed and was very easy to put together. I would have no hesitation in recommending this stand. Great value and a great product.
