I bought this so I could connect controllers to my computer to have fun with. I started by trying my guitar hero drums then my guitar hero guitar. Both devices connected very well with no noticeable connection issues.
I think that this was a good quality item, and I recommend buying it if you want to connect Xbox 360 controllers to your computer.

This DOES work on windows 10 I have the latest windows 10 with all the updates done as of the 26th March 2021.
I have included the piece of paper they included with the received. It took less than 5 minuets to install and be playing without any issues or signal loss. If you can't figure out how to install the drivers from my image then YouTube have loads of videos doing just that you could follow.
If you are still having problems I suggest you put down the controller and step away from the PC your not ready for it, go buy an xBox and play that.
