The window suction is so strong. I live in the snow belt so we have lots of pot holes and this cell phone holder, did not move at all. You can adjust the arm angle of the window holder. I also tried the air vent holder and it was strong but for my model of car the vents are to low and the steering wheel gets in the way. I prefer the window attachment and put my phone in it ,landscape style.

I bought 2 of these to hold my phone so I could use it as a dash cam, one for each vehicle. One is mounted on the dash and the other is mounted on the windshield. I used the plate it came with for the dash and just used the suction for the windshield, they both hold very well, they are not shaky when my phone is in it and I get great video. I have only used the air vent holder and so far I am not very impressed. As soon as I tried to turn it the whole holder started to fall. The grip on the vent isn't strong at all and I have a Google Pixel 7 Pro so I need something that will hold up that big of a phone.
