Absolutely love this travel SIM card! Activation was a breeze and right on time. We used it during our 6-day trip to Florida and it performed flawlessly both there and back in Canada. We made numerous calls within the States and to Canada without any issues; great connection and no delays. Data usage for browsing, emails, YouTube, and even Netflix streaming was smooth with decent download speeds (see pictures). We had two SIM cards, one for each of us, and shared data with the kids via hotspot without any complaints.When we needed to extend the service for an extra day, customer support was quick and efficient. I received a response with an extension link and completed the process in just 10 minutes and for a price that was a steal compared to the daily rate from my Canadian provider.The only minor drawback was the hotspot connection to my laptop, which wasn't great. If you rely heavily on laptop connectivity via hotspot, this might not be ideal. Otherwise, no complaints here. I will definitely purchase these SIM cards for all future trips to the States. Highly recommended!

I had 5G signal 90% of the time in Los Angeles. Was completely compatible with my global version Samsung Galaxy A54 despite T-Mobile saying otherwise on their site. The sim is really easy to set up and works really well when in the US, there were short intervals of no signal but could be attributed to the area, so no big deal. My only complaint is when I was still in Canada for before and shortly after the trip, I couldn’t use even after turning on my roaming and manually selecting the network they told me to choose. I love that it also works in Canada, so I can put it in the day I leave and keep it in when I return, being seamlessly connected as I cross borders. I believe there is a data limit in Canada and Mexico, but data in the US is unlimited. I will buy again for my next trip. Highly recommend.

My husband and I have bought and used these SIM cards so many times over the past year travelling from Canada to the US for fun trips, and for work. I've found this is one of the only ones where you get a temp phone number as well as the data, set up is very easy, and good data speeds. Tech support can be a bit tricky because they only communicate via e-mail, but I have found the company to be very responsive and in good time.

Would definitely reccomend for any trip, happy to find a SIM that works rather than overpaying to my regular carrier for roaming, and our phones don't support eSIM.

Got 2 x 5day SIMS for myself and my son travelling to Jay Peak, Vermont to do some March break skiing. Was excited to have reasonably priced data plan so that we can keep in contact while at the resort. We both have different phones and T-Mobile says our phones are 100% compatible. The route/destination are both within T-Mobile's coverage area.

RESULTS: Both phone's connection were just absolutely horrible, barely usable. No data or very very slow speed on internet or the page just times out. The phone and texting service was just as bad and unreliable. We could not communicate reliably. We fiddled around with both phone's settings for couple hours and gave up. We emailed Giant Tree support and this is their useless response "It seems There is no signal coverage in your area, please try again when you move to other places. Also please try to restart your phone".

Anyways, I just wasted money on 2 sims and even though T-Mobile says I'm in a supported area and there is a signal but the poor connection makes it totally unusable. In the end, we activated Fido's US roaming service for $15/day, rip off, yes, but at least it works and Giant Tree is the true rip off.
