I started taking care of my hair by buying "expensive" products about a year or two ago. My hair was always dry and brittle. Breaking and frizzy. It looked like a lions main. I discovered this hair oil about a year ago and quickly fell in love with everything about it. I apply it directly to towel dried hair and let my hair air dry most of the time. Once it is air dried I usually apply another few drops. It automatically tames the puffiness/frizz and makes my hair silky soft. I will apply it every morning before starting my day and it never weighs it down. Not only does it help with the styling, it repairs the hair as well. My hair has never been so healthy. This is just using the Olaplex oil. I have yet to try the shampoo as well! I tried to cheap out and try another well known brand that cost 10$ less and I immediately regretted it. It did not do anything for my hair but make it oilier looking. I highly recommend starting your Olaplex journey with this bonding oil!

I personally really like this hair oil. It smells like oranges and leaves my hair super soft! The bottle is really small though. For the price of this product I think it should come with more than there is.

This product is great if you're willing to pay the price. Since it takes very little to work, I'd say it's a great investment.

It's a light oil, so it's great for thinner hair. But it also means that you should have a good base hydration to use it with (a good conditioner, a leave in conditioner and/or another oil). Think of it as a finishing product to add shine and protection and to tame those last frizzy hair strands that may remain.

Start with only one or two drops and massage well into the hair before deciding if you need more. You can use it on dry or wet hair, but it's easier to see if you've put enough if you work with dry hair.

It's main purpose, aside from a more polished look, is to prevent breakage at the ends, so you should really focus the product on your ends before bringing it to the length of the hair. Don't bring it to the top of the head unless you have very little left on your hands.

It's great to use if your hair starts to look a bit dull or dry in between washes, but keep in mind that you won't need as much as right after a wash.

Just got this and started trying it. Smells great, light, doesn’t seem to weight down my hair and does seem to increase shine. However, it’s quite pricey. Thus far, I add a few drops (5-6) when my hair is damp and then later after styling I’ve been adding a few extra drops (2-3) as a finish for loose strands. Still too soon to tell if the heat protection it boasts really helps. I have thick but naturally straight hair, not sure if this product works for all YOU lucky curly hair people 🙂

I LOVE this oil. I hate that I love it because I will be paying a lot more for hair oil going forward but it’s so worth it. It smells amazing, is perfect for my curly hair (scrunching out the crunch!) and adds shine without looking greasy
