Setting it up with my FM radio and connecting it to my phone was easy. Switching the light modes is also very easy. I am sticking with the solid green color because that's the closest match to my car's dashboard. I like that you can also disable the lights altogether if it distracts your driving and such.

In comparison with another bluetooth transmitter I'm using in the meantime, the sound quality is the same, which is very good. There is no static noise and no disconnection issues.

The middle button pauses or continues the playback. The middle button also acts as a knob for tuning the radio frequencies or adjusting the volume.

Overall, I think this is a great little device that does the job as it should. Just be aware that in some vehicles, the 12V plug won't shut off as you turn the engine off, take the keys out, and leave the vehicle. Some vehicles keep these ports active, and it can drain your battery overnight, so just be careful. It's not the device's fault. If you see that the display and the lights are still on when you shut the engine off, (etc) unplug it.

Generally speaking, this is a good quality FM transmitter that offers several features such as:
- 2 different USB charging port options, USB A and USB C
- Small and lightweight
- Simple to setup and use
- Hands free calling
- Good sound when transmitting music to your car's' stereo
- BONUS: Can play music files from a USB stick
I have noticed there is almost no interference and no dip in sound quality with the FM transmitting except when passing through larger metropolitan areas. In that case, you might need to change the frequency a few times.

I have found 2 issues:
1) I have found that if your stereo allows for hands free calling only but not bluetooth music and you also have your phone connected to this, the hands free calling will not operate correctly. People will hear you but you won't hear them. The way around this issue is to disconnect your car's connection and only connect to the transmitter. This is more of a conflict with connection, not necessarily the device itself.

2) This is device related, when trying to setup a new connection to another phone you need to disconnect the current phone in its setting then follow the instructions to create a new connection. While that is fairly easy, if both phones happen to be in the vehicle at the same time and they are both set to auto connect, you will have an issue. To get around this, disable auto connect on all devices. Doing that though is inconvenient as you will manually need to reconnect each time.

Overall this is a great device and money is well spent.
