This camera is great! The vintage look with current features is so nice. I have used the ZF before and decided to go with this one as I didn't need a full frame and overall the features weren't too different (and still so much more than what my d7100 offered). It's light weight so it's easier on my sore wrist. It's mirrorless, which is amazing if you're considering moving from DSLR. If you're just starting out learning to shoot manual you might really benefit from the mirrorless as well. I love it and am so happy I got this.

Competitively priced and delivered within days of purchase. The camera is still new, is performing well and taking some great shots. It has amazing capabilities to take pictures in dim light without a flash. This was an unexpected surprise.
A great APS-C camera that is inspired by old SLR film cameras of the 70s and 80s, with plenty of physical dials to allow for a more tactile shooting experience. Very nice to use, especially paired with a manual lens for even more of a retro shooting experience. The camera is quite wide, but light.
The sensor has a bit less resolution than the typical APS-C camera with just 21 MP, but it's not a deal breaker, and the camera climbs ISO with confidence. Shots at 6400 ISO are still usable. The camera also shoots great 4K oversampled video. So all in all, great basic stills and video APS-C camera.
However, it's not for beginners. It doesn't have all the shooting scenes for beginners that other cameras have. It doesn't have an onboard flash either. It doesn't have the handheld night mode most cameras have nowadays. And if you look at the Nikon line-up, a purely pragmatic analysis shows the Z50 is the better deal: it has the same sensor, same image quality, same features, additional features (all the modes I mentioned) and an onboard flash, all that for a lower price. So if you can deal with the mundane but efficient modern design, the Z50 is simply the better choice if you want a Nikon APS-C camera.
