Apple is a genius for developing these AirTags, as I will never have to worry about the airlines losing my luggage again, in fact, I can tell them where my luggage is! We bought keychain holders for our AirTags and then threaded the split ring through the netting inside our luggage so that security couldn’t accidentally drop it out of our bag during inspections/searches. We now have an AirTag, in every piece of luggage we own, my wife’s purses, my work backpack, on our keys, and even in the saddle bags of our motorcycle, to ensure we always know where our important things are. One feature we really appreciate it is that both my wife’s & my phones can locate every AirTag we own, we highly recommend this product!

Originally purchased to keep track of items we left on Property in Nova Scotia as we live in Ontario! When someone with an Iphone is near the item, it updates on the app and says someone was near the item.
The life of the battery...definitely lasts a year at least!!!! And...when it's low, it says so in the 'Find me" App we have on our Iphone.
Accuracy is bang on so far. I purchased more to put on our keys, as we lost the one set we had for our vehicle. This air tag saved us close to $800.00 ... that's what it would have cost to get a new key (1)!!!!
If you are thinking about getting an air tag for Iphones with the "Find My" App, Don't think twice, do it! The price is fair, some may think high, but consider the alternative when you misplace or something gets stolen or lost and you could have used an air tag to get it back!
I purchased the cases as well, two styles (for the key chains) and so fat, they were very easy to use and seem sturdy and will protect the air tag. I will be buying more when I need more!

Bought this on promotion price. as I can't justify paying full price for any big brand. The product is very good and well build. My biggest complain is there's no cover or case or even a loop that comes with it. you must buy a case or cover or keychain of some sort to be usable. It's a smooth surface round button that is slippery and easy to get lost unless you purchase an accessory with it.

This is a review of the "Apple AirTag 4 Pack"

I've used generic Apple AirTag compatible Bluetooth trackers before but because I heard that the actual Apple AirTag Bluetooth trackers are actually better, when they went on sale on Amazon, I decided to purchase the 4 pack.

The box is sealed and ripping the seal, I opened the lid of the box and removed one of the AirTags in order to test. You basically just need to remove the plastic covering from the AirTag and then pull the plastic covering off the AirTag which causes the internal battery in the AirTag to touch the necessary contacts/terminals.

The Apple AirTag is easy to link with your Apple account. After the AirTag beeps when the battery touches the necessary contacts/teminals (upon removal of the plastic covering), you just place your AirTag next to a relatively recent iPhone and it will automatically detect it and you just need to follow the on-screen instructions.

I tested out the Apple AirTag and what I like about it is that unlike my generic AirTag compatible trackers, with the Apple AirTag and the "Find My" app, when you are within Bluetooth range of the AirTag, it will show you an arrow (similar to a compass arrow) showing you the direction you need to go in order to move closer to the AirTag. This will only work with the more recent iPhones (I have an iPhone 15). This allows you to properly locate an Apple AirTag without having to rely on activating the alarm feature of the AirTag. You can activate the alarm feature as well but having the "compass arrow" to point you in the correct direction is an added benefit. With my generic AirTag compatible Bluetooth trackers, it would only show me a top map view of where it estimates the tracker to be (sometimes it is not 100% accurate) and in order to properly locate it, I must activate the alarm feature of the tracker.

I'm very happy with the Apple AirTags.

The only negative comment that I have to say about them is that only the actual AirTags are included in the box and if you want a keychain holder for the AirTag, you will need to purchase that separately (the generic AirTag compatible Bluetooth tracker was less expensive and included the keychain for free).

These are the real McCoy, Genuine Apple Airtags. Amazon has them for less than Apple, but you won't get laser engraving at this price. The four pack is a good size and four Airtags is enough to track keys, wallet, backpack, and one piece of luggage. To use these, you'll need a newer iPhone with working Bluetooth to register, use, and track the Airtags using the "FindMy" app. You cannot use your PC, Android, or iCloud account; these don't work with Airtags. Airtrags are powered by CR2032's installed with a pull tab, so the battery isn't being drained while these sit in the warehouse. Smart looking, easy to use, highly accurate. You'll need to buy an Airtag holder of some kind and those are sold separately at a variety of prices. Apple has some really nice Airtag holders. Other vendors also sell holders, but be careful because here as elsewhere you will get what you pay for.
