I used X stands in the past, and this style of stand is way more convenient and comfortable. It doesn't seem wobbly at all. It is a little on the high side, but in my opinion, that helps with posture; as well, it can be adjusted to suit your preference. Definitely worth buying.

Finally a keyboard stand that I can use without keep hitting my knees in the middle cross bars!!! Height and length adjustable, very sturdy product. It is on the heavy side, but I don't mind it at all. I rather have a heavier, solid stand that securely holds a 15 lb keyboard, than one that is flimsy and tips over. Still light enough to be able to fold and carry in a duffle bag while on the road. Awesome product, well worth the money I paid for it. One important suggestion: DO NOT forget to attach the non-slip foam stickers on the top surface, otherwise your keyboard will slide off.

I really like that it has four legs allowing my knees to fit underneath it without touching anything (I used to have the X shaped stand where my knees were constantly touching the middle of the stand - uncomfortable).

I had a different stand that was a criss-cross shape, and my knees keep banging into it. I bought this - and it is much better. It is more comfortable and easier to use the pedal. The only problem is that at the lowest height, it is still too high. My piano seat is not adjustable, so I have had to stack several layers of carpet under the seat, and put a pillow on top in order for the keyboard to be at the right height for me. If not for this, I would have given 5 stars.

Got this because i wanted something more sturdy than your standard X stand. It's nice and firm and being adjustable is easily able to hold a full sized keyboard at the perfect height.

If i was going to nit-pick id point out that in a couple of spots the finish is a little rough, but at half the price of similar top braded stands i cant complain at that.
