This product is excellent on our doggies, and us too. We have horse flies that circle our dogs and with this spray, they do not land on our dogs or us. They tend to circle our heads, so with a little spray, they are gone. With the dogs, we spray it on our hands and rub it on the applicable areas on their body. It really works and is all natural, which we love. The only one issue, we have labs, which are water dogs, so once they go into the water, you have to reapply the spray. Will purchase again!

Ticks seem to despise this stuff. When I stopped using it, my dog was full of ticks, but using this seems to deter them. I also use it on myself and haven’t found any ticks.

Strong lemon and eucalyptus scent, which seems to last for a few hours of hiking. I don’t mind the smell, and it beats the deet smells in other repellents.

As for mosquitos and other biting pests? It’s ok, but unless you completely cover yourself or your dog with the spray, they will just find a spot without it. Doesn’t seem to repel the super pesky deer flies and horse flies unfortunately. Also, sweat will wash it away, so I imagine the “up to 6 hours” is just sitting somewhere not sweating.

It’s a spray, so it’s not the easiest to apply to a dog that doesn’t enjoy it. Spraying just my dog’s collar seemed to deter ticks on most walks and hikes, and my dog enjoys pronking through the brush after chipmunks, so for that reason, and the more-natural ingredients, I keep buying it.
