To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
The x-hot is hard to find in grocery stores. I didn't think to check Amazon. And I found it at a better price vs the other Nando flavors in grocery stores. It's just a good tasting sauce, but it won't set your mouth on fire. I see a lot of disappointed reviews that it's not spicy enough. It just has a little more personality compared to the regular hot. Give it a try!
For 8 bucks, I didn't have high expectations. But it's supposed to be the hottest sauce in their lineup and I don't feel a difference compared to the Medium one.
Flavor is subjective. I personally don't really like the sour yet slightly bitter taste.
