Overall, great! But one big issue.
I originally purchased this for my samsung Galaxy s23 ultra, for when leaving the house and my phone is dead, and I'm in a situation where I cannot bring my main, huge battery pack, will not have an outlet, and don't have enough time to charge in the car. I've owned a few NEWDERY products before. In my experience they deliver an overall good product that doesn't cut too many corners for a good price. And that's the same here. This magsafe battery pack is cheap when compared to similar alternatives, and gives you more mah, and delivers 15w while others sometimes seem to skip on that. I just returned from Hawaii and this was my favourite purchase in prep for the trip. It’s not too bulky, the magnet is strong and it holds a great charge. While out for full days, I never had to worry about my phone dying while constantly using maps or taking videos and photos. It even stayed charged after using it for two consecutive flights and a 10 hour layover. It charges my iPhone 13 quickly and fully 2-3 times (I’ve actually never had it die so I’m not sure if it may be more). It’s a total lifesaver. I never like to say you ‘need’ something, but you definitely need this :)

Few things. This product is a lot a bigger then expected. I was thinking it would be a slim sleek design. It was three quarters charged when I got it so I drained it by charging my phone which was 50 percent at the time. It took about three hours to get my phone to 100%. The charger was also dead. So the today I charged the new charger and after 4 hours just one of the four charging lights is lit. Now I have to decide to keep it or return it. Not impressed.

* Good magnet strength. Nonslip silicone is very grippy helps with the magnetic attraction.
* Doesn’t get in the way of the iPhone 13 camera lip physically, but it does show up slightly in the 1x camera and about 15% on the .5x camera.
* There is a strange fluttering beeping sound. Like a cricket while charging phone.
* Gets a bit warm by the usb c port but not unbarable.
Full Details:
The silicone layer on the magsafe portion helps stop the battery from slipping and spinning around and the magnetic attraction is fairly strong. That was a big problem I had with Otterbox’s magsafe battery since the case I’m using has a smooth polycarbonate back and that battery was smooth plastic too it would slip off way too easily. On a silicone iPhone case this battery’s grip is amazing, rock solid!
Because the magsafe portion is lifted away from the battery portion, it slots perfectly on the Otterbox Symetery case for iPhone 13 Pro without getting caught on the camera lip like other magsafe battery packs. The battery appears a tiiiiny bit in the 1x camera and it shows up maybe 15% in the .5x camera (see photos).
I’ve modified the battery by adding a magsafe adapter ring to the back so that it can attach a magsafe popsocket on the back and I can hold the whole thing like a battery sandwich. This was one features of the otterbox battery that I missed and now I have it here too! If you align it right you can retain the ability to use the pop socket like a landscape stand.
The battery gets a bit warm charging the phone by magsafe. The majority of the heat comes from the bottom where the button and the usb c port is. It’s not unbearable but it is noticeable.
There is this really weird fluttering sound while it’s magsafe charging my phone. Like a cricket or a hard drive motor beeping. I’ve heard this sound once before on a cheap Belkin 5v ac to USB adapter. It’s pretty quiet though, you only hear it when you put your ear to the battery. So it’s not a huge deal.
