About this item
- 【Multiple Flash Modes】 NW635II-C Speedlite supports TTL, manual mode, optical slave S1/S2 mode, stroboscopic flash mode, flash exposure compensation, and other features. A high guide number GN58 (ISO 100, 180mm) allows lighting from a longer distance. A clear LCD screen displays all the information you need for precise flash settings
- 【Adjustable Flash Output】 Flash output is adjustable from 1/1 to 1/128 for different ambient light conditions. 3.5s short recycle time and 1/300s–1/20000s flash duration let you capture every moment. Stable 5600K±200K daylight delivers a consistent color to all photoshoots
- 【Flexible Bounce Angles】 Flash head can swivel up and down between -7° and 90° and rotate 270° to get natural photos with fewer shadows at multiple shooting angles. The diffusers and reflector help create more light effects
- 【Lightweight & Portable】 Use 4 AA alkaline batteries (not included) or 4 nickel metal hydride batteries (not included) to power the flash. The flash is lightweight, so it can directly mount on the camera without weighing it down. A protective case stores and protects the flash during transport
- 【Compatible Models】 Compatible with Canon EOS R6, R5, R3, R, M6, 850D, 800D/T7i, 760D/T6s, 750D/T6i, 650D, 600D, 7D Mark II, 7D, 6D Mark II, 6D, 5D Mark IV/III/II, 1D Mark III, 1DX, 550D, 500D, 450D, 90D 80D 70D 60D 50D, 1100D, 77D, SL3/250D, T7/1500D 2000D, T100/3000D 4000D (NOT compatible with RP R50)

Flash is compatible with a wide range of cameras is listed in the description and the manual. I’m using this on my canon, rebel T7.
I’m still learning when all the numbers and functions do on the flash itself, but for the most part, you can leave it on auto and it will automatically detect the right flash for your environment.
The flash takes four AA batteries, which are not included so keep that in mind.
Overall, around $100 you get a great product that works well and is easy to use.

(Using it on Canon Rebel T7)
I got the following readings:
GN60@180 mm
GN48@50 mm
GN44@35 mm or 24 mm
Ease of use: The menus are similar to other flashes I have from Neewer and Godox, so they were pretty natural to use for me. I go around these in the included video.
Construction: The flash is well-built. You will find similar construction on cheaper manual flash, but this flash is TTL, it adds to the costs.
Overall: This is an entry-level flash with TTL, and it is good. This is a decent flash that will be much better than a manual flash in my humble opinion and I will be using it often. Got with it if you are on a tight budget; However, I really prefer going with one of the flashes that support the 2.4GHz wireless mode and TTL like the NW420-C or NW655-C. I went this route 15 years ago with my old Olympus and got some manual flashes with external flash trigger, but nowadays, the 2.4 GHz for Godox/Neewer is the best option to choose if you take the strobist road.

The flash is easy to operate and the instructions provided are clear and helpful. The flash head can be adjusted between 7° and 90° and rotated 270°, which provides a wide range of lighting options. The included diffuser allows for even more creative possibilities.
The flash is compatible with TTL flash metering and is best matched with most Canon models. The flash works well in manual mode and provides well-exposed photos.
