The previous light, while also very good, required either manual controls on the back of the light to change brightness and temperature, or an iPhone app. The issue with this is that the controls are not easily accessible and the if I'm using continuity camera on my iPhone I can't access the light's settings. And that's where this light comes in clutch.
The included remote can easily change the colour temperature and brighteness while I can see what my camera is capturing so I can get exactly the right light conditions that I need. It so much better than guessing.
Included is everything you need to get this light set up. The desk clamp is good quality and secure.
I have reviewed many products from Neewer and I am always impressed with their quality and utility. This light is no exception. It's small, efficient, and very easy and convenient to control with the remote. It may be a little on the expensive side, but trust me, if you want a light for streaming of video recording, you won't regret spending a little extra for the incredible quality.

The panel is very well-lit and illuminates as a single panel, with no annoying individual LED light bulbs. The frame has a mount on the top and bottom so that you can adapt to your needs easily. The back of the panel has on/off, a remote channel selector (you can have multiple panes connected to the remote), brightness and white temperature adjustment wheels. A clear, large LED readout is on the back.
The panel is very bright on full power.
The kit comes with a height-adjustable pole with a table clamp. The clamp has a great feature where you can widen it further by removing the two screws and sliding the lower part down, allowing you to clamp to thicker tables.
There is a 2.4g USB connector that will allow you to connect via USB and control the panel that way.
A swivel ball head is included.
The remote allows you to control brightness and temperature with several saved settings that you can cycle through if needed. However, it does not turn off the panel; you'll have to use the manual on/off switch on the back.
The panel does need to be plugged in (no battery option).
Overall I really like this panel. The build quality feels great, the light is great, and it feels very sturdy and I suspect I'll get many hours of use.
