I bought this to replace a light stand that I have had for quite a while.
My old stand came with my soft boxes. It worked ok but it wasn't quite as tall as I would have liked and it kind of bowed a bit when I extended it.
These are light, strong, tall and sturdy. I wish I'd gotten them sooner. I bought one and when I saw how well it worked...I bought two more. They cost a bit extra but I think they are good value for the money.
